"So that means not pregnant?" Kiki asked as she looked at the stick.

"No preggo." I smiled and waved it at her.

"And those things are reliable? It's just a stick." She skeptically spoke.

"Yep." I tossed it in the trash. "And you get your answer in 2 minutes."

"I'm still weary. I'll have Gello do a test on you." Kiki spoke.

"Speaking of Gello... how's Gad?" I nervously asked. "He hasn't returned and I'm a little worried." I admitted.

"Oh, I never explained to you." She sat me on the bed. "There are many different realms that occupy this world. Gadreel has entered the realm of Hel and time works dramatically different there."

"Does time work differently in every realm?"

"Somewhat... that is why Blake said you left for a longer time than you believe. For him, it could've been weeks you were away while you only spent a few days in the light realm. Time is arbitrary when discussing the different time zones."

"That's why you would be gone for months at a time." Everything started to make sense. "By the way, where did you go all those times you'd have to leave?"

"Remember the coffin that holds the dark angel queen? And Radna having a key?" I nodded. "Ya, well I helped to defeat her. I had to leave often to train to fight the queen-"

"And you defeated her." I proudly smiled.

"Ehhh..." I scrunched my brows. "I did help fight her. I was there." She chuckled. "Buuuuut, I had to leave the fight early." I gave her a perplexed look. "Lilitu was the one who sent those demons to kill you in the cafe. It was her way to split us up, so she'd have a stronger chance at winning."

"The three of you? Ken and Zena?" She nodded at my question. "So you left them to save me?" She nodded again. "I feel horrible that they had to face her without you. If only I-"

"I'd make the decision over and over again. Do not blame yourself." Kiki hugged me. "You are someone worth running to." I gave her a gentle kiss. "And Er is calling me." Kiki groaned.

"I didn't hear her." I looked around.

"Telepathy." She pointed at her head. "I tend to use that form of communication with others... I think she wants to discuss how to go about the darkness inside you." She bitterly smiled. "I'll be back."

"Okay." I leaned in to kiss her. "I'll be waiting." I smiled.

"Don't wait up." She kissed my nose before leaving.

I yawned and stretched my arms before flopping onto the bed. I crawled over and grabbed the ghost plushie. I snuggled Kiki's pillow and closed my eyes. I heard rustling outside my windows, but attributed it to the wind. I could've sworn I heard the door slide open, but I wasn't sure.

Okay, I'm definitely hearing footsteps right now. I swear if it's Gad! I opened my eyes and sat up. Me and the person gasped at the same time. Jer quickly switched on the lights and held a cross up. I gave him a confused look, but he started throwing salt and spraying me with water. What the heck?! He then pushed his phone in my face to force me to watch the scene of an exorcism. I yelled and scooted away.

"Jer, what are you doing?!" I covered my eyes since scary movies freak me out.

"I don't know what that devil did, but I'll get you back!" He started reading the Bible.

"Jer, I'm normal again." I pushed the book down. "I was seriously infected with darkness- I still am, but it's sort of controlled right now. I don't know, but-"
