You could not imagine, not even in your darkest nightmares spawned from the depths of hell, how it felt to hold that knife.

She shivered when I grabbed her. A long drown out wiggle of sorts that caused my own body to do the same. And as I shuttered the knife in my hand cut small little slips into the soft pont of her skin. Drawing a crimson droplet down her neck and into the color of her white shirt.

Formaly white shirt.

I breath into her ear before I speak, allowing the uncomfortable closeness to tilt her over the edge.

"Now, I want you to introduce me to your piolets. We are getting this bird on the ground. In Scotland."

It has only been two days since I last saw her. Felt her. Tasted her. Already the withdrawal has set in.

And the panic. It sits on the edge of the bed with me as I pull my laces to a close. As I check my phone, knowing full well how late she is.

Sometimes she has needy customers. Ones that require contestant attention and can take her away from home for days at a time. But this is different. I can feel it. She always calls, even in the middle of something. Even straddling a consumer twice her age and having me hear his moans in the background and she slowly ties him. She will just put the phone to her hear and whisper.

"Daddy, I am going to be a little late out of the office." She will moan every sylable, sending tingles down my spine.

She did not do that last night. Or today. Now as I drive my sorry codependent ass over to her promiscuous place of business I wonder, will I find her humiliating some young bachelor? Or will I not find her at all?

I fear the worst as I enter, receiving lusty glares from the leather clad workers as they move rooms. Some pulling behind men as if they are nothing more than puppies to be played with and then put back in their pen.

The woman at the counter smiles. A creepy slight suductive thing.

"Hello, newcomer." She purrs, "whats will it be? Pain or pleasure?"

I just roll my eyes, pressing my forarms against the marble coountertop. Her eyes narrow.

"Actually, I am look for someone."

She smirks this time, glancing from side to side.

"We don't sell out people here sir. If you are looking to blackmail someone based on their interests you have the wrong place."

Her words seem serious. But by the glint in her eye I can tell that with a high enough bribe she would spill anyone's darkest secrets.

"No, I am actually looking for a woman who works here. Her name is Daria."

She froze then. As if my words cast a spell of stillness and pulled the color from her flesh. When she finally did speak, it was hesitant.

"And why do you need to see her?" A shaky but shap breath, "she is in a session."

Thats a lie. I can tell by the darting her eye do to the corner of the room. I allow my own to follow and watch as a security guard pushes himself off the wall and begins to stride our way.

Well I have my answer then.

"I mean her no harm. I am her partner, although we are not official. I have not received any texts or calls in some time and I am worried."

Her face only shrivels until her beautiful form resembles something closer to an old hag. A vengeful witch.

When I speak next its coldly, no longer playing the part.

"If you know something, its best you speak now. Things may get uncomfortable after that."

She only scoffs and the man walks to my side.

"Is there a problem madam?"

"Yes, remove this man. He has threatened members of our staff and is no longer allowed on the premises."

Oh wow. Thats pathetic. The man moved to grab my shoulder.

"Come on buddy, you heard the lady. Let's call it a day."

"I would not touch me if I were you...." ice rages angry thrashing lines through my gut as I slowly adjust my stance.

He does not speak. Only claspes his hand on my shoulder and moves to pull. I don't think anyone expected me to move that fast, as I tucked my arm around his and then pulled on the collar of his vest to ram his face against my knee. Or the gun I pulled from behind my trench coat still slick from the rain outside. I place the weapon on the counter and watch the man wiggle about the floor. Her eyes go wide.

"Now, you might consider being more reasonable. I suspect your liying. And if you are, lets just say you will wish I just kneed you in the face." I take a breath, steadying the storm. "Now, let's try again. Where is Daria?"

POV: Daria

Our hearts beat in tandem as I await her response. Shaky breathing giving away the fact that I am not well versed in actual intimidation. I am used to men. Groveling with leashes on, mouth gagged and balls in my hand. I am not used to this. Real fear. Really not kidding around and pretending but knowing that a safe word will stop all hostilities. This is real.

The girl does not speak. She only whimpers and I dig the blade into her flesh in order to coaxe a response.

"Ok..." her voice is a whisper. A cry.

"What are their names? Who is giving them orders?"

She nearly twists in my grasp and I pull the blade away enough to let her face me. Eyes looking up at my substantially larger frame, touring over her.

"You must already know...its him...its them."

"Who?"

"I..."

"WHO?"

She does not get the chance to speak as the copilot comes from behind the curtain. Another player onto the field. He pulled a gun from his waist. One I had not noticed before. I moved to grab the girl harder, pull her to me. Use her as leverage to win my freedom.

I must admit, I was not expecting him to release two rounds.

Into her chest.
