The echoes of cheers were bursting out of the arena. Anxious fans were yelling out to their favorite contestant, desperate to see them win. After all, this was the most important battle of the league; the finals. Suddenly, the contestants yelled out, bringing in their partners.
"Go, Arcanine!"
"Come on, Corviknight!"
Cries filled the air as the battle began. Before any of the spectators could comprehend what they saw, the Pokémon were in a heated fight led by their trainers. Hurricane-force winds coming from one, and fiery blasts enough to set wildfires coming from another. It truly was a spectacle to behold. But after a tense and exhausting battle, one stood victorious. Soon after, the referee's voice echoed throughout the stadium to the star struck audience.
"Arcanine is no longer able to battle! With that, our new champion is... GUINEVERE!"
The crowd immediately burst into cheers, chanting out the new champion's name. The finals were over, and now it was time for young trainers to try and rise to the top to surpass her.
