Chapter 3

I open my eyes, still in the hospital. I smile when i look to my right to see a sleeping Shaka. He looked very uncomfortable. I go to get up, but remember what happened. My dad hit me with his car, only it didn't feel like it.

If he had hit me with his car, my legs would be broke, but there okay?? I'm so confused!

I feel a sharp pain on my side, and go to look at it. I felt a patch on my side, what the hell?

"Oh good, your awake. How do you feel?" Doctor says, walking into my room.

"What happened?!" I ask, beginning to freak out.

"calm down. You were in an accident. You said before you passed out that your father stabbed you, do you remember that?" Doctor ask me, i shake my head violently.

"That's okay, we'll your father was sentenced to prison for life just so you know. Oh and your meds are right here" Doctor says, setting down a cup on the table next to me, then exited the room.

I smile, my father was finally put away for his wrongs! I'm free! I laugh, and lean back, groaning as the pain in my side got stronger.

I take the cup the doctor put down, and put the pills, one by one into my mouth, taking sips of water with each one.

It was nice to know that the husband of the wicked witch of the west was gone for good.

Unless...

No, CJ think positive! I heard footsteps enter the room, and look up to be greeted by the McKellans.

They sigh in relief when they see me up and all give me a hug.

"Thank god the lord decided to give you another life! Ohh sweet mercy i thought i had to go kill someone for my baby!" M'Dear says, making me laugh, which made my side hurt.

Shaka shot up, and looked at me. I smiled at him as he rushed over to give me a hug.

I scooted over on my bed so he could sit there, and he gladly accepted it.

He sat down and put his arm around my waist, carefully trying not to hurt me. I smiled and layed my head on his shoulder as i listened to them all talk about their week.

It was relaxing honestly, these guys were my family. Well even Shaka, but you know that i like him.. right?
