I burst into my front door, I knew nobody was home and my mom would get a call soon rather than later, I probably gave Elizabeth a concussion. I raced up the stairs and unlocked my bedroom door, peeking inside. It was safe, my bedroom was safe. I sighed heavily and sulked inside, shutting the door softly and feeling the click as it locked. I calmly walked to my bed and flopped onto it. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and it was already on... I looked at the previews of text messages, I was showered with them...!
Dori: "Ugh, how could you?"
Elizabeth: "Can you not?"
Abby: "Some friend you are."
Elizabeth: "I agree."
Dori: "So what she was writing a story on Wattp..."
Abby: "Yeah, you have a problem with people wr..."
Elizabeth: "Just... No."
UNKNOWN: "Susan."
I winced. Huh? I slid the UNKNOWN message to the right and typed in my pass code.
Susan: "Who is this?"
UNKNOWN: "Eagle Eye University. Out of 28 choices we put them into 4 groups and drew 4 lucky girls."
Susan: "I did not apply for "Eagle Eye University." I believe you have to wrong human. Is this someone from my school here to bother me about slapping Elizabeth...?"
UNKNOWN: "No. Meet our school bus outside your house in 20 minutes. Pack up for 4 weeks."
Well, a rational person would call 911 and lock down the house. I felt drawn to this, like it was my destiny. Crazy, right?
