School was finally over, after a long day of questions about his and Muichiro's relationship, all he wanted to do was rest. But, it seems like the universe doesn't like him. When Sanemi and him got home, their father was already there. He was sitting in the living room when they walked in, sleeping, while the tv was on high volume. Sanemi held a finger up to his mouth, signaling for him to be quiet. They both quickly and quietly went to their rooms, closing their doors as softly as possible, their dad was usually not a heavy sleeper, and could wake up from a wrong step on the stairs. Genya entered his room, he put down his book bag, and layed on his bed face up. He stayed there for a few minutes, just lying down. Genya thought about his days and the random questions if he was secretly dating one of his best friends. It was obvious that he wasn't, he doubted he could keep a relationship like that secret for long. And, what made any of them think that Muichiro would like him. He wasn't anything special, there was nothing he could think of that would make him good enough for someone like Muichiro.
After about ten minutes, Genya slowly sat up to get his phone out of his drawer, his father didn't allow phones in his house. He said that he they were a distraction and were the reason kids these days were so disrespectful. Obviously Genya and Sanemi didn't listen to his foolish rule, both got crappy cheap phones with the money they had.
Genya accidentally forgot his phone at home today, he just hoped he didn't leave the ringer on. He moved some of his clothes around, looking for his phone, that should've been there.
"Fuck, where is it?" Genya started to panic a little. Maybe he just misplaced it? He prayed to some god that he did, but where the hell would that be? He moved his bed sheets, maybe he put it down on his bed and left it there? Wasn't there either. Genya searched more,
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck," Genya thought over and over in his head, it had to be there somewhere. He then heard footsteps coming to his door.
(Again physical abuse and homophobia, if u don't want to read that skip to the sparkles ✨)His father pushed open the door, it had been locked before, but Genya had just noticed the lock was broke. For a second there was complete silence, Genya could hear his heart beating.
".... You looking for something?"
"Fuck, he definitely found it." Genya thought to himself, he avoided eye contact with his father.
"No sir, uhm, I was just looking for a pencil." He quickly lied, while pretending to look through one of his drawers again. Suddenly, a hand grabbed at his hair and threw him into the wall.
"I told you before, don't fucking lie to me." He pulled a small phone out of his pocket, and, it was Genya's.
"I said no phones in my house, the only one we need is the one in the kitchen." He turned on the phone, the screen lit up and Genya saw multiple messages from Muichiro.
"I'm guessing that "Mui" is that Tokito kid."
Crap, he could tell what his father was going to say next. He grabbed Genya's hair to make him look him In the eye."I thought I told you to stop talking to that f@g, I'm not gonna let my kid be turned gay." Genya avoided eye contact with his dad as much as possible.
"He's just a friend, don't call him that." Genya mumbled, he hated when his father went on rants about how terrible his friends were, he seemed to especially hate Muichiro. He didn't even know why he called Muichiro those names, he had only seen him once, and his father didn't say anything about Yuichiro, so it wasn't about appearance.
Genya felt a sharp pain to his stomach, his father kneed him. Genya almost double over in pain, his father was a significantly strong man.
"I told you, don't disrespect me. Don't mumble when you're talking to me, you speak clearly."
He threw his phone on the ground and harshly stomped on it. Genya heard the screen cracking,
