What happened to the world

The awakening

It is dark and cold in the night hearing creeks from everywhere. Suddenly Jesse gasping for air is awoken. Hearing and seeing everything she soon sees 6 others. She starts sprinting to everyone to wake them up. Soon after Ben, Robin,Abby,Lacey,Toby, and Ally wake up. "What's happening?" Robin says in a confused way. "I have no idea," Jesse says as she pulls everyone from the ground up "But we're alone out here." Abby and Ally were first to cry and shake but Lacey was brave and wasn't scared to what was happening.

"Little one how old are you?" Toby asked in confusion. "Twelve what's wrong about that?" Lacey was a brave little girl. "Crap," Ben said realizing they have to keep her safe. "Let's go. It's cold and we have to find shelter," Jesse says.

"Ow! My foot ow ow ow!" Robin had cut her foot on wood "Can someone carry me?"

"I can," Ben said and everybody could tell he was strongest and brave.

Jesse being the smartest analyzed everything, "It's best if we go north. I can tell there's gonna be a storm coming from south so lets go north."

"Holy crap your smart!" Lacey says so surprised, "I'm Lacey."

"I know and I'm Jesse."

"Ow. Robin."

"T-Toby."

"Ben."

"Abby."

"Ally."

Everyone looks to see a note carved on a tree with a sharp rock next to it.

Hi guys I know that there only
Seven of you but I'm the eighth
I went off to see the world.
I can't explain much

"Who's Daliah?" Everybody says in confusion. "I have no idea. But we are going to find her," Jesse says.
"Let's go," Ben and Jesse both say.
Everyone got up and started to walk through the woods.

Time goes by and it's almost sunrise. Robin was able to walk again and Abby wasn't scared but Ally her twin was.
"It's cold," Ally says. Jesse looks at her and said, "It's almost sunrise it'll get warmer I promise."

"Okay."

It reached sunrise and they found a stream and cooled off. It got warmer and and brighter to where they could see almost everything around them. It was beautiful and the stream had beautiful rocks in it. "Wow! It's beautiful," Lacey says looking at the water. Ally called for Abby but she didn't say anything. Ally had then look horrified to what she saw  Abby was looking at.

"Je-Jesse l-l-look," Abby said in fear.

"What? Holy- everyone get down and hide!"

What they saw was a troll but it was giant. And they had no idea how they was survive that creature from killing them.

"What do we do!" Ben said quietly with Lacey in his hands.

Jesse slowly looks up at Ben and quietly said, "I have no idea. But we have to kill it."

"I'm scared, Ben," Lacey said shaking.

"Don't be. It'll all be fine I promise."

The creature stayed there knowing something was there. And now everyone knew it wasn't gonna leave until it killed whatever was there.
