BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! '' ugh why does it have to be morning already" I said to my self. " why can't I get one day to sleep in?" I asked myself quietly. I reached over to the bedside table to turn of the 3 o'clock alarm I had set the previous night. Why did i have a job that required me to work at 4 am in the morning, Annie thought to herself. " oh right, you just had to become a news anchor Annie, real smart.''
Annie got out of the bed and headed for the bathroom, she done her business than began getting ready, normally she would just get out of bed and get breakfast and head to work but today she had a early morning broadcast so she had to get ready at her house. She walked to her closet and picked out an outfit that she felt was comfortable enough but still would be appropriate to be on the air. ( outfit picture on the top of the page). Annie then got dressed, did her hair and makeup, then headed to the kitchen.
''Finally I can get some coffee'' said Annie. WOOF! WOOF! '' okay Loki enough with the barking, I'll feed you in a minute'' Annie said to Loki her 2 year old husky. Annie made her coffee then went to the pantry to get Loki's food. Shortly after she fed Loki, Annie drank her coffee and ate her breakfast and headed out the door.
As I arrived at work I scanned my ID badge and then walked into the building. ''Good morning Robert'' I said to the security officer while walking through the metal detectors. '' Good morning to you as well Annie'' said Robert while checking your backpack and your purse. Robert handed your bags back to you and you walked to your office.
Once you she was in her office Annie closed the door, once she set in her chair she opened her laptop to start working on her script for her broadcast today. It was a news report about the weather and a chance of power outages with the strong winds and heavy rains hitting the area this morning and afternoon.
There was a heavy knock on my office door. '' Come in" I said, '' oh, hey mike'' I continued to say as I looked up and saw that it was coworker that was secluded to be my costar on this morning broadcast.
sorry it took me so long to write the first chapter, I've been really busy with work. I know it ended at a really weird spot but i wanted to get the first chapter out. I hope you guys like it.
