You and Rosalie were at it again with yet, another pointless argument.
To be honest, it started because you got home later then you said you would after going out with some friends.
A lot of the time when it comes to this, you felt that Rosalie was trying to control your life, trying to keep you from having one outside the Cullen's home. It was close to midnight and you were supposed to be home around ten, and Rosalie wouldn't let you explain why you were later then expected. You were exhausted from a day of work and wanted nothing more then to go to bed, Rosalie wouldn't get out of your way and you were becoming agitated by it, finally putting your foot down, ending up snapping at her.
"You know what, Rosalie? I can't deal with this right now, I'm going to bed. If you can't deal with that, then that's your own problem to deal with."
You left her there before she could say anything, ending up having to sleep in a guest bedroom rather then the room you both shared because you were just frustrated with her at this point. After shutting off the lights and crawling under the covers, you still weren't able to fall asleep. Despite how tired you were, you were just too upset about the argument and that kept you awake. You remained there until morning light peeled through the slightly opened blinds of the window.
Once you started arguing with yourself to get out of bed, you were up and dressed within the next hour and wanted to walk out like nothing happened the night before. But when you saw Rosalie sitting on the couch, you knew that wasn't going to happen. Still feeling a little upset at her, you tried walking past her like she wasn't there, but with her speed, she quickly comes at you and takes a gentle hold of your wrist, stopping you in your tracks. At first, you didn't have anything to say to her until she was the one to speak first.
"How did you sleep?"
Even though she knew you didn't get a wink of sleep, that really was the only way she could get you to talk to her.
"Not at all."
"Listen, I'm sorry about last night. I was just frustrated easily, and I know that doesn't excuse anything of what I said last night."
Her apology took you by surprise, it's only rare for her to make the first move on apologizing after an argument, as it's usually you that makes the first move. Of course you forgive her, but you almost feel too stubborn to let her know that until she offers to make you your favorite breakfast.
"Okay... I guess you're forgiven." You tease.
"I knew that would work."
The rest of the morning was spent with not only a breakfast, but with you and Rosalie teasing each other as if you were still first graders.
It was just another way of getting your relationship back on track and forgetting the argument from the previous night being left behind in the past.
Your love for each other was just too strong to be mad at each other for long.
