Class 1-B was currently waiting in their classroom awaiting their teacher. Each of them were talking among themselves besides one.
Itsuka.
She was sitting at her desk as she was stuck in her head thinking. What had her thinking this hard? Well, her run in with Izuku the previous night.
The distressed look on his face had found a place stuck in her head she couldn't get out. Her mind started asking questions of why. Why did he make that expression? Did something happen? Was it something she said? Or, was it something personal?
'...It's probably nothing. Come on Itsuka, calm down.' She shook her head slightly as she laid her head down in her arms.
She had been thinking all night as well, so she didn't get much sleep since it was stuck in her head.
"Hey there prez, you look half dead over here. Didn't get much sleep?" A voice spoke up as Itsuka lifted her head to see who it was.
"Hey Tokage. Yeah, I didn't get much sleep. I was thinking a lot last night." Itsuka said as she let out a yawn.
"Hmm..." Tokage hummed as she walked around her. She had her hand placed on her chin as she looked Itsuka up and down.
"Tokage?" Itsuka said confused at what she was doing.
"Stuck in your head thinking.... Staying up late.... Not getting enough sleeping...." She said to herself as she grew a slight grin. Now standing in front of Itsuka, Tokage leaned forward a bit getting down to her level.
"Well well well, looks like prez here has taken a shine on someone, huh?" She said her toothy grin showing every bit of teasing she has.
Itsuka grew a blush as she shook her head.
"What!? No! It's nothing like that at all!" Itsuka said.
"Whatever you say prez. But on a serious note, what's up? You've been in your head for awhile." Tokage asked as she leaned down on the desk.
Itsuka let out a sigh as she propped her head up with her hand, leaning into it.
"Well, I ran into Midoriya from class A last night after I delt with Monoma. He was training so I didn't want to Interrupt at first, but I kinda tripped and got noticed." Itsuka said.
"So you are interested in someone!" Tokage said, but was quickly shut down from Itsuka.
"I'm not done yet! *sigh*...Well after he seen me, we spoke for a bit before he had to leave. But as he left, he looked kinda...sad." Itsuka explained looking back at the thought.
Tokage looked at her friend as she watched her face seem to show a slight bit of worry. She had seen her show worry before, and once that happens, it's hard for her to let go.
"Well, why not ask him what's wrong? I know it's not your place and all, but it doesn't hurt to show you care. Best ending is he will talk to you." Tokage said to her.
Itsuka looked up from her desk towards Tokage.
"You might even be able to get close to him as well~" She said in a swooning tone.
Itsuka's face again began to heat up.
"I told you already it's not like that!" She yelled out flustered.
~Time Skip~
Hero class had just ended for the day as class B was heading towards the locker room to change.
"Hot damn! Kan sensei did not let up today." Kaibara said aloud before getting smacked upside the head by a certain vine haired girl.
"Language!" Shiozaki said to him as he rubbed the bump on his head.
"Stop hitting him so much will ya? He's right anyways. Kan sensei did work us to death out there." Tokage said.
As they headed down the halls, the class separated from boy and girls to the locker rooms. But as Itsuka was about to enter, she felt a tap on her shoulder.
Turning her head, Tokage was there getting her attention.
"What is it?" Itsuka said confused of why she was stopped.
"Hey look, isn't that green bean you were worried about?" She said as she looked down the hallway.
Curious, Itsuka peaked down the hall to see a slowched down Izuku Midoriya up against the wall in the hallway. He sat there in what looked liked his hero costume, but torn up a bit. He also held onto his right arm with his left.
"Why's he sitting out in the hallway like that? Didn't they just get out of training like us?" Tokage said confused of why he wasn't with his class let alone in the nurses office.
But not just her, Itsuka looked at the boy with worry as well.
"Hey, I'll catch up with you in a few, alright?" Itsuka said as Tokage gave her a nod.
Walking past her down the hallway, Itsuka walked up to where Midoriya was sitting. As she got closer, she began to notice more dust and burn marks on him. As well as his costume ripped up.
Finally reaching him, Itsuka called out.
"Midoriya? What are you doing out here?" She said which gave a startled response from the boy.
"K-kendo!?" He called out as he looked up at her.
"Wow, calm down. I didn't mean to scare you, sorry." She said as she put her hands up with a calming motion.
After calming himself down, he put up his uninjured hand and waved it.
"N-no, it's fine. I just didn't expect you to be here is all, hehe.." He said as he gave a wobbly smile.
"Yeah. Anyways, back to what I said. Why are you out here sitting in the hallway? You also look pretty banged up. Aren't you supposed to be with your class?" Itsuka asked him to where she got a slightly jolted response from him.
He slightly clinched his arm as he looked up at her.
"I-i just got out of training is all. I was making my way to the locker room's then got a bit tired s-so I sat down for a bit.... My class went on ahead so they could get changed." He said, the last part sounding a bit off from the rest.
Itsuka looked down at him, but only with more worry. Why would his class just leave him here by himself? Let alone as injured as this?
"Did you get that hurt from training today? If so, it must have been some rough training." Itsuka said hoping for a response she could look more into.
Midoriya, once again, took a moment to respond.
"...Y-yeah. Aizawa sensei doesn't let up on his training." He said before looking up at the clock on the wall.
"I-i should probably get going. Aizawa would probably get mad at me again if he thought I was missing." Midoriya said as he tried to get up.
He stumbled slightly, but was caught by Itsuka from falling over on his face.
"Do you want any help to recovery girls office? Cause I'm positive you should go there first before you change." Itsuka said as Midoriya stood up fully himself. He took a step away fron Itsuka as he shook his head.
"D-don't worry, I'm fine. Thanks anyways... I'll seeya." He said with a wave as he turned around.
"Midoriya..." Itsuka called to him as he turned around to face her.
"...Are you ok?" She asked him as she looked him in the eyes.
Midoriya looked at her for a moment before he just smiled.
"D-don't worry, recovery girl can fix me up in no time." He said as he turned away from her and walked down the hallway.
Itsuka watched his back as he slowly made his way down the hall, eventually turning the corner and leaving her sight.
'...That's not what I meant...' Itsuka said to herself as she finally turned away and walked to the girls locker room.
