A new design, how's it?

Avni was elated to see that her project was going smoothly and working on it for 6 months was worth it. It had been three weeks since they had returned from Greece and Neil was also working tirelessly on his case.

He was stressed these days due to four more abductions. The team in disguise couldn't find a clue anywhere near Rang Mahal. It seemed as if they knew how to escape the police, it was frustrating for him.

The verbal interaction between the two of them had reduced to a great extent due to the same. Neil was mostly returning late at night and Avni was incomprehensibly tired after work to a point that she slept straight after having her dinner.

The only relief, for like a couple of minutes, Neil and DD found out of all the inspection was discussing about Dd's supposed girlfriend, Swati.

"For the hundredth time," Dd began in annoyance, "she's not my girlfriend!" Neil always gave him a you'll-realise-later or a you-can't-fool-your-brother look, after which they dropped the matter by submerging themselves in the case.

Neil had tried to talk Ali out of his problems with Tisca but he knew how to keep secrets. Even Tisca looked keen to divert the topic if Neil tried to ask her about him over the phone.

Neil was having too much on his mind these days and the DCP taking the case lightly made him believe Dd's and the commissioner's accusation about him being involved.

"Yes, it's done perfectly." Avni commented, staring at the spiral tower structure whose frame was now covered with cement. It was perhaps the most difficult structure whose superstructure had to be made and she was relieved it was done perfectly.

It looked like two spirals running simultaneously to a great height, opening the way for a roof-top cafeteria (which was to be made later) for the employees. The painting and addition of exterior glass was left.

Mr. Dave, Farida and herself had come to the site for regular inspections of the construction. The mere superstructure had grabbed a lot of attention of the media and the public. As a result, the architecture department of the Khanna Group was the busiest among all others.

Mr. Dave had vouched to accompany Farida and her on Prakash's order. "Your father-in-law didn't want any form of threat reaching you." He explained, when Avni told him that his presence wasn't necessary.

Avni just smiled at her co-HOD, he was indeed like a fatherly figure to her, she had made the correct judgement about his nature on day 1 of her work. The three of them went back to office, for they had many meetings to attend.

"I will present some designs tomorrow. Have a good day." Avni said to a new client, who had come for the renovation of his penthouse. The office was nearing its closing hours, so she put her belongings in her bag and walked towards her father in law's cabin.
