"Your mother has awakened, and her condition has surprisingly improved a lot. You can go in and visit her now." Jungkook's eyes lightened up as he constantly bowed towards the doctor with gratitude, his hand was still tightly held onto Y/N's before pulling her with him into his mother's ward.
And the first thing she saw was a middle aged woman, sitting on the bed, gazing out the window that overlooks the hospital's garden.
"Mom!" He ran towards his mother, hugging her like there's no tomorrow. "Oh honey, you're here!" Y/N stood there, witnessing the small family's reunion until his mother's eyes landed on her.
"Jungkook? Who is she?? Don't tell me she's another sugar mommy! I told you to not use that method to earn money anymore!" His mother didn't sound happy at all, eyes looking back and forth between the two youngsters before Y/N greeted his mother with a respectful bow.
"Nice to meet you, ma'am, I'm Jungkook's girlfriend." Guess she should hide it from his mother as well.
Jungkook came up to stand by her side, shyly grabbing her hand. "She's Y/N, Mom, she's very nice..." His mother narrowed her eyes at Y/N, signalling her to come closer.
And she did, she walked towards his mother before the sudden grab of Y/N's jaw almost startled her to death, his mother moving Y/N's head around while observing.
"Hmm..." Y/N gulped as she was released from the grip.
"Do you love my son?"
That question took Y/N aback, she wasn't expecting such a question. They aren't actually in a relationship either, even though she adores Jungkook very much, but love? She wasn't sure how to respond to this, taking a glance at the very nervous Jungkook before looking back at his mother.
"Ma'am, we have just started dating for a few months. I assure you that I like and adore your son very much, but I don't think it's love yet, we're still developing into that."
She spoke it out, being as bold and reasonable as she could, yet, her words still made the boy behind her wince, his face turning red with his heart almost jumping out of his chest.
"What about you, honey?" She turned to look at her son. "H-Huh?" But he was obviously not being able to think straight, slowly looking up to Y/N with those bunny eyes.
"Do you love this woman?" His mother asked him once again, her noticing how scared he was as she came up to him with a smile, grabbing his hand as she intertwined her fingers with his, reassuring him, as well as hoping she'd give him some strength to speak up.
