Clearing my throat. I shuffled my feet around and scanned the trees to the side of me getting myself under control.

"I dont really know how to answer that. I dont think I am in my world anymore "  looking up at the two suns in the sky.

Killian looked confused.   "Your world?  What other world is there?"

"Well my world does not have two suns" pointing up at the sky.  Bringing my hand down I rub my forehead a bit.   This headache is killing me.   "I guess I will start at the beginning.  I was practicing my magic and I opened a window of sorts.  It closed after I went through it.  I tryed to open it back up but it did not work.  Then I heard the kids playing. Came over to look and here we are"  everything just poured out in one long ramble.

"Magic?"  Killian asked still looking totally confused.

"Yes. Magic.   I can try to show you if it will work right.  I am still learning and it can be a little touchy" I did not even wait for an answer.  I just walked right past Killian going a bit farther into the forest just in case things did not go good.

Looking over my shoulder to make sure he was following me.  I stopped when I got to a little break in the trees.  "This looks like a good place to show you."  I turned to face Killian.  Shaking my hands out at my sides.  I close my eyes..  control my breathing and focus on the light.

"Oh wow! That is amazing" Killians voice sounded almost right next to me.

I practically jumped out of my skin.  I was not expecting him to be so close.  Opening my eyes I brought my hands up in front of me waving and turning my fingers around so Killian could see the light trail a bit around my fingers.   I seemed to have a bit more control over it here.  My magic even had a different sound here that I did not notice before.   Instead of the crackling noise it was now more of a low soothing hum.

At this point I had totally tuned Killian out.   I was moving and turning the light like I had never been able to do before.   After a few seconds I had managed to make a rather large glowing sphere between my hands.

I finally glanced over at Killian.  His eyes were wide and he was not  looking at my hands he was looking over every little part of my skin that was showing.   Circling me a bit as he did.    Well this is a tiny bit uncomfortable.

"Is everything ok Killian?" I ask him after a moment.

He closed his eyes and shook his head like he was clearing his thoughts.   "I am sorry.  I have never seen anything like this."  He continued looking at me. Reaching his hand up to my arm and softly touching my skin. Tracing down my arm with his finger.    "Your blood is glowing" he said in almost a whisper.

Looking over at my arm  "I am not bleeding! What are you talking about?" His touch was starting to give me goosebumps so I squirmed a bit to the side to avoid him.    I lost my concentration in my magic and the light orb I had created broke up and disappeared.

"It stopped!" Killian came closer grabbing my hand and looking my arm over.

"What in the world are you talking about Killian?   Pulling my arm away from his grip.

"Your blood was glowing when you were using your magic! Start it back up so I can see again."   Killian said this with a bit to much excitement for my liking.

"Umm.   Ok.  But you have to explain all this crazy talk about glowing blood?"   Squinting my eyes a bit and giving him my best death glare.
