Gulf's POV

Fuck! Who did that!

I rushed to washroom to cool myself but that was of no use.

Ughh!! First presentation and it went so wrong!! I feel like crying!!!

Mom! I need mom...

I immediately called mom. I know she will help me to calm.

"Hello m-mom?"

"Gulfiee? Baby? What is it? You dont sound good"

"Mom Im... scared"

"What happened baby? You want me to come? Are you okay? Im worried na baby"

"No mom...Im fine...its just"

"Tell me what happened"

"today was my presentation and someone changed my ppt. Directors and CEO were really angry. CEO has given me 24hrs to prove myself and to present the ppt.."

I told her everything in one go.

"shh...its okay. Relax first. And listen to me. I know how much hard work you did but the more you achieve success, some people will cast evil on you. You should learn your lesson now. Dont trust anyone so easily, you dont know who is for and against"

"But mom I didn't...I was working on this alone.."

"Think hard Gulf. I know you can find your answers. For now calm youself complete your ppt again, if you made it you know everything about it. Then next stage try to find the clues, and dont tell anyone. Not even the closest one."

She is right. I cant lose this chance.

"You are right mom. I should not easily give up. If I have got the chance, I should definitely do my best"

"Thats my boy! Im proud of you. Its your own fight, dont trust anyone."

"Yes mom. Thankyou. I love you"

"I love you too. Show them what you've got!"

She disconnected the call. Now I have to think hard who could have done that.

As far as I remember I was working alone on this. Didn't take help from anyone..

I just asked Ohm to save the file...

Wait! Ohm!

But how is that even possible?

And why would he do that?

He saved file in my domain only. I had seen by myself. Why would he?

But then...I cant trust him.

I need to find it by myself...ugh!!

Third person POV

Gulf started working again on his ppt from the scratch.

His advantage was that he remembered every detail of it so without wasting time he completed the ppt by night.

Next was to find out who did that. Ofcourse he had doubt on Ohm but without proof he cant prove his innocence. He needs to get solid proof against him.

He called his batchmate who was a software professional.

That friend suggested him to check the IP address from where the Ppt was changed. And then match with his own Laptop IP address.

When Gulf did as his friend instructed him, he found out

'BINGO!'

IP address was completely different.

Atleast with this information he could show them that he was innocent. Someones tricked him.

But how to confirm from who's laptop it was done? He cant touch Ohm laptop without permission. Infact he dint know his password.

'but atleast I have evidence to prove.'

Next day,

Ms. Maria informed Gulf about the meeting. Same panel was coming today again

"Mr. Kanawut, I hope you found proof!"

"I did Ms. Maria. I just hope they understand. This job is really important to me." he was nervous.

"I wish too"

Everyone entered the conference room.

"Mr. Kanawut have you found anything?" one of the head started.

"Yes sir." with confidence he started.
He presented the documents which were all needed to prove him right.

Mew was listening everything. He was happy that Gulf tried his best on his own.

"Mr. Kanawut, if this is so then who was the main culprit?"

"Sir...th-that I...I dont know." Gulf kept his head down.

"Then how can we be sure that you were not the one? You could have done from other Laptop right?" One said.

"Sir, why would I kick on my own stomach? This job is as a survival for me. If I had to play then I would have done with someone's data so that I can go above him" He answered.

Yes, his words were enough to keep their mouth shut.

"But I know who did that"

Everyone turned to look at the person who said that.
Gulf was confused too.

Mew went closer to him "Im proud of you. You did great. Now let me handle"

That was enough to give a small relax smile to Gulf's face. He slowly nodded and went to stand in corner.

"With due respect, since most of you are elder to me, I have always given that respect to everyone. But if it comes to my employees, I can listen to a limit. Yes, in every company there are flaws. But that flaw isnt Mr. Kanawut. The information which he presented today was correct. He didnt do anything. And I can prove that."

He played the cctv video in which Ohm was sitting in his place, when he zoomed in, it could be seen that he had logged in name of Gulf Kanawut. And even the ppt screen was open.

Everyone was shocked to see the video. That included Gulf too.

"And this all happened, yesterday morning, half an before the meeting. My only doubt was how did he get the password Mr. Kanawut. I know he is his room mate in guesthouse but Mr. Kanawut how did he?" He looked at Gulf.

"Sir, my file was not saving so he said he will help me. That time I gave him password and logged in his laptop but later I had logged out" He confessed sincerely.

"But that doesnt mean he didn't see your password right? I know Mr. Kanawut did only one mistake and that was trusting his roommate. I hope now everything is clear."

"Also, I will personally expel Mr. Ohm and will see to it he doesnt get Job anywhere. Now, Mr. Kanawut you can continue with your presentation" he gave a smile to Gulf.

Gulf relaxed and started giving presentation.

Once he was done, everyone clapped and praised him.
