Pt.6 Goth

Geno POV:

I stare at the unknown basket that appeared behind me out of nowhere when I was trying to sleep. I didnt touch it yet afraid on what would happen if I did... But then again, it appeared behind me and in the save screen so sighing in defeat I scoot over to the basket and open the blanket, I look closer to see

A sleeping child?!?!

I am panicking at this point. Why is there a child here?! Am I suppose to be parenting this?! Wait... THERES NOTHING IN THIS SAVE SCREEN FOR THIS CHILD'S NEEDS!! There's no food, kitchen, water, bathroom, clothes, and other other stuff that I never see in the save screen!!. I don't know what to do I'm just staring at the peacefully sleeping child while panicking in the inside. Wait...

Why do I care?...

.. Scratch that I was lonely for decades that's why I care and most importantly its going to die in this pitch black void with nothing but me, the child and the basket.

I carry the child out of the basket and cradles it in my arms.. I never thought of having one and also becoming a father, I wrap my scarf on him to prevent him for being cold. Yes in the save screen you can get cold here..

They look so peaceful.. I wonder if me and reaper can adop- wait...

WHY THE FUCK AM I THINKING ABOUT THAT ASSHOLE?!?!, I can feel my cheeks heating up and probably looking like a strawberry at this point. Speaking of the devil I heard a portal open and look at my far right to see reaper coming out of the portal

Sitting on cross legs and cover the kid with the scarf and put them down on my lap like its just my scarf rolled into a ball then wave awkwardly at reaper. He wave back with a look of confusion then sit next to me.

"Hey Geno how are ya?" Oh its not like I've been stuck in the same dark spot in the same dark world of my so called 'home', "I'm doing okay reaper" replying back while glancing on the child that was not entirely wrap but make reaper not notice shit about It.

"what about you?" Small talks are my thing nowadays, not a single interesting topic would come out of my mouth that would turn into a long conversation, compared to reaper who has seen the outside world but not a single interesting topic would also come out of his damn mouth that I wanna shove my tong- anyways...

I notice I've been looking at the wrapped child rn that I didnt notice reaper looking at the same thing too. He cleared his throat to get my attention "I didnt notice when I came in that your scarf disappeared.. Now I'm just confuse on why it turn into a wrapped ball on your lap-" I tense at that and started sweating...  I don't want Reaper to find out about this child yet, heck I'm scared he'll reap them... is it even allowed to reap a healthy monster? 

I don't know what to tell him... Should I say something logical but make it believable? or tell him the truth and wait to see what he will do?.

"I-idk..."

Ok. That was stupid. Stupid stupid. Stupid, wtf am I thinking?! Great now he is more curious than before

But before both of us could even say a word the scarf started to move, Oh boy they're awake.. Oh Gosh I'm so dead and so is the baby...
The next thing we knew a head came out of my scarf and yawning while rubbing its eye

"G-Geno?..." I could feel his gaze at the corner of my eye

"uh..." My skull is filled with panic and worries. Listing all the possibilities he could say next

I look down and saw the concern that was written on the kid's face tilting his head in confusion on to why I'm shaking so much

Wait I'm shaking...

Deep breath Geno.. Deep breat...

I hear laughing below me and saw it was the child I'm cradling in my arms, I look over to what was funny until I saw Reaper making funny faces. I stare at him and the child back n' forth in shock

But the scene is kind of heartwarming... Can't help but crack a small smile and all the the worries washed away. It seems like Reaper doesn't even mind but I know I owe him an explanation

I joined their little play time and we had a good laugh here and there, I explained the situation to Reaper and he just kissed my forehead smiling at me with a soft gaze and told me its alright

We discuss on what we should name the kid and eventually this flirty bonehead suggested we mixed our names together and call him 'Goth', he's so smart that I agreed on the name.

"Welcome to life Goth" we both cooed to the child, and Reaper with his gloves pick him up and toss him in the air and catching him repeatedly while Goth laughs enjoying the moment

I feel like I'm forgetting something thou... I'll figure it out later

Hello Ladies and Gentlemens and the non-binaries in the back, I have finally updated this!

I still haven't found my motivation for this book but I managed to continue this draft.. And yes I'm sorry for the delay- ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

Anyways! Goth has finally came and was blessed with two curse but beautiful parents that those ta aren't aware of yet.

I have decided that I might discontinue this or rewrite the whole shit but eventually decide against it for now. Thou if you wanted a better version I suggest reading the one Muxh4oom_widda_beez made of this story! It was basically inspired but I'll call it 'the better version of this book' (/-(ｴ)-＼)

They did a pretty great job! But no worries I won't discontinue this yet but thank you for the ones who waited and like this book.
