Bull was gifted, or cursed, with the power of regeneration. Bull comes back each time he dies, much like a phoenix. If he dies trying to save someone, they are blessed with a small amount of his regeneration. This doesn't heal them fully though, just lessens their wounds. It is unknow if there is a limit to the amount of times Bull can regenerate. No one Bull kills stays dead either. Bull has no control over this ability.

"If I'm going down," Felipe gripped the knife tighter in her hand, "you're going down with me." Felipe didn't hesitate to charge at Bull, despite the large gash in her abdomen. But her wound made her slower, and Bull slit her throat once she was in range.
"I win," Bull said as he watched Felipe's body crumble into ashes and embers. He knew Felipe would respawn in a matter of time. While he waited, Bull played with his own blade, trying to twirl it around like he'd seen Felipe and Striker do a couple times.
But there was suddenly a sharp pain in his back. Bull turned and saw the smiling face of Felipe, who then slit his throat in return. Bull felt the ashes, and he was blinking awake in what felt like seconds, but he knew was longer. "That wasn't fair," Bull wined, "I won already."
