It was a sunny day. Sunrays hitting my body . I want to wake up but the warmth of the hand on my face placed gently not wanting me to wake up. He's just telling me to lay down a little more before we face the horrors of the day. I heard the door open almost broke followed with a yell "Kim taehyung , Kim y/n wake up you little brats it's 7:00am" . We jolted sat up straight at once in bed.
She came with fierce and about to hit me but my brother covered me with his arms around me and took the hit. She then pulled his hair making him face to her and said "you and your sister better be ready and get the hell out of here before the bus leaves we're not giving any free food for the rest of the day" and left. A small tear left my eye noticing that my brother creased my cheeks and said " princess.. it's gonna be alright" . I gave a Little smile and said " you get ready first I will go after you" agreeing to that he went off the bed.
I leaned over the back of my bed and took my eyes to the ceiling. It is filled with spider webs and corners are all with green yellow patches. Yeah we're living in this same room for over 7 years.
Our parents died in an accident leaving us in this horrible place LILY orphanage.
They never took good care of us as we don't have any relatives to come over and visit us nor they recieve any benifits . They used to treat us like trash and so the other kids around us. They're always so jealous of our bond how we take of each other having each other's back every single moment. Other kids in the Care used me to threaten my brother and make him do all the stuff and punishment they're assigned to.
Even in school they bully me and my brother for not having parents and says all the mean words in the world.
My brother works part times secretly and earns little money in order to provide me with better care. Some times he returns wd all bruises and invisible pain .
But we never lost our hope that we will have good days around the corner waiting eagerly to meet us.
"Y/niee" I came back from the deep thoughts and saw him all dressed up for school. "You go now I'll save you breakfast at the table. Come fast or we'll face another beating from Mrs. Seri. He said and left. I quickly freshened up went to the dining hall ate my breakfast my brother had saved and caught the bus in the right time.
Days passing by and evryday is the same as before. It was a beautiful evening I was enjoying the view on a bench . Suddenly I felt a two hands over my eyes covering . I chuckled and said "I know it's you oppa , who else would come for me you've been doing this for years now" he too chuckled and sat beside taking my hand in his. I noticed a bruise on the corner of his lip. We sat there for a while without any words just the breeze passing through and feeling it.
"Y/niee" he called and I turned to him he's looking in my eyes. "YeAh taetae" I responded "today Suo my classmate asked to accompany him somewhere and said he'll pay me so I agreed and went with him. It's an Entertainment company called BIGHIT he auditioned for in dancing". He continued.
"I was standing there in a corner then a staff representative came over and asked if I'm participating I said "no" he then went and came after some time and said "if you wish to give it a try I will give a chance" I was froze for a moment and said "I'm not good at anything " he said "don't worry everyone came here is to give it a try whether you're good or bad at it" It strike me hard and said Yes.
I was standing there holding a mic. Donno what to do then a man from behind wd a loud voice said "show me what you got" I closed my eyes real hard left a sigh and started to sing the only song I'm good at it's a melody. Everyone clapped. He again spoke " show me a rap " I was nervous a bit still managed to do. I can hear the cheers getting clear. He again said" DANCE" now I'm like "what is his problem" I took a deep breath and started to dance freestyle. The cheers getting louder even after I stopped.
That big man from behind came to me and asked how old are you I said "16 sir " "PERFECT" he said and asked me "we're thinking of forming a boyband would like to join?" I was shocked I didn't utter a word he then gave to one of his staff and he guided me through a hallway and showed all the work they've been doing and I'm truly impressed. I went to that big man and said "sir, I'm truly greatful for being selected but I need sometime to think over". That big man sighed looking at me and said " there will be 3 year training programme and will debut. Take your time boy I'll give you 2 days to decide" and left. "
He sighed and put his head on my shoulder playing with your fingers. You're looking watching the sky turning dark little by little. "What do you think?" you spoke. He is silent . He took his head off your shoulder made you turn to him and asked you " what do you think?" I just looked him in the eyes "taetae whatever you do I'm always on your side.
If you want to go join the band go ahead I'm always cheering for you till the end" tears rolled down his cheeks hugged me real tight and said "I love you y/niee" " love you too taetae"I said. looking at his fresh bruise on his lip "what happened here" I asked wd concern in my eyes. "Oh this, this is nothing Suo punched me for he didn't get selected" he said wd a smile. "He's jealous" I pouted "of course he should be, after all it's me who gave the audition evryone will fall form my charm" he said with a smirk. I hit him lightly with an annoyed expression and we both headed back to our dorm.
