Prologue

I whinged, I whined, I moaned and groaned but nothing I did stopped my parents from deciding to go to an old fishing town isolated by the inland rivers with nothing but swamps and mangroves surrounding the town for miles. The place was disgusting: walls covered in dark green moss, roofs black with mould and the worst part was how all the people that we saw were huddled together and the fear in their eyes was indescribable.

Story

It all started in a small town on the middle of nowhere a family was on a holiday there were three people altogether in the family; the father Mr Fergus the wife Mrs Fergus and their son George Fergus. The family came into the town they noticed something strange about the place it was dark and gloomy. The windows were boarded up and the door had at least 5 locks but the family being as dumb as they are didn't pay any attention.

The first night the family were there George had heard a noise in the house next door across the street. He saw shadows moving across the walls and faint screams he looked down at the door and noticed that it was in pieces on the ground and all the locks had been forced open, George started getting scared. He pulled his window down and drew his curtains shut.

The next morning everybody was outside the house standing in the middle of the street staring at something. George was trying to find out what everyone was staring at but he couldn't see from his window so he went outside to see, when he got to the front of the crowd he stood there petrified, his body started to fill up with nothing but horror and fear as he read the message on the wall which had been written in blood, and just to the right of the house was a head wrapped in fishing line dangling from the tree gently bumping against the trunk in the wind.

George raced home as fast as he could and said to his parents "Mum dad we have to get out of here or we're all going to die".

His parents replied "What nonsense you're just a big fat scaredy cat who needs to get a taste of the outdoors once in your life".

George knowing that there is no hope went to his room locked the door and hid inside saying the message on the wall over and over in his head: "I am coming for you, I am coming for you,  I am coming for you".

That night George didn’t go down for dinner he stayed in his room hiding under his bed sheet. After several hours George heard a noise from down the street. He crept out from his bed sheets and walked to the window. Just as George started to open his curtains he heard a high pitch scream.

George opened his curtains as fast as he could only to see the house’s door diagonal to him smashed down all the locks Brocken and just to the right of the on the lawn was the headless bodies of a young man and woman squirming on the ground with blood spurting out of were their heads were supposed to be and in the tree above them just like the last night, two heads wrapped with fishing line, hanging from the branches of an old pine tree swaying in the cold night air.
