Okay, so when I created this I wanted it to be special, something non-done. so, I created a Big Mama scenarion. imo, I didn't really get to see Big Mama in action as much as I wanted to. For her voice actress being the girl WHO LITERALLY RODE THE BACKS OF DRAGONS in one show &  DID SPELLS & KICKED SOME WIZARD BUTT in another, she seemed played off (a little). Most of the show revolves around Baron Draxum, the foot clan & the Shredder (Oroku Saki) & plays Big Mama off as a helper, a errand boy (or girl) which is fine by me but since this takes place after the finale of the show, I couldn't use Baron Draxum as a villian (I mean this is an au so I guess I could've but why?) I liked the fact of a bad-guy-turned-good so I needed a new villain. The foot clan / the shredder was off the table for many reasons, reason 1 being because the Shredder is already defeated & having him come back from the dead would A : be very boring imo B : needed a fresh new set of eyes & C : it reminds me too much of TMNT 2012 when they tried to raise Shredder from the dead & you know how that ended (unless you don't..go watch that show it's amazing!) but I did take something from reason C for my story. (we'll talk about that in a sec..) I also chose Big Mama because of her very regal yet savage tone, she was PERFECT for my au. I needed a character with the brains, the funds & the motive to do all I'm about to talk about (which is a lot). Big Mama also has that sort of villain speech that's REAL cool when it comes to stuff like this :) 

CREATING THE GROUP

Kaibutsu Hangyaku means "Monster rebellion" in Japanese, I wanted to use monsters because they are [Big Mama] supposedly creating monsters, something that'll listen kind of like a pet to train & become better. & rebellion bc they are rebelling against it.

why did you choose Leo & Mikey? : 

I chose Leo (well A : bc he's my favorite -kinda-) because he had the most personal issues plus (rant time) I like how subtle they were with Leo's issues, him saying things like, "I'm useless!" [the minotaur maze] or "I'm nothing without them!" [portal jacked] plus he's the only one who can't really control his powers (Mikey & Raph have a pretty good hold, with the -rare- mishap & Donnie who usually doesn't dabble in magic, only has slight -and by slight I mean RARE- malfunctions here & there) plus, with the whole shift in jobs i'm EXTREMELY curious on how their going to dive down onto Leo's insecurities & the new position as the leader. By now all he calls himself is the 'face man' & being there for the occasional joke but, he is SO much more than that & I hope they make this movie good because DANG IT this boy needs LOVE (and by love I mean angsty love!) ANYWAY..yeah I wanted him to carry a burden throughout my first book (and maybe the second..) I also chose Mikey because him being the youngest, he'd be vulnerable to this kind of stuff [torture & actually killing other people] so I thought he'd give me a lot of angst to work with. Plus, we need more Leo & Mikey moments & this book is FULL with them. 

How were the others captured? : 

Kiran : was born & raised there. although he lived a lavish lifestyle toll they needed him for the Kaibutsu project.

Rose : woke up there one day & has lived there before getting out .

Alopex : after her family was killed by an assassin, she roamed the streets of the hidden city before getting captured by Big Mama.

Who is Kavaxsas & what role does he play? :

Kavaxsas is the 'main' bad guy in this au. I got him from TMNT 2012 & decided to use him. In MY version he is summoned by collecting his four stones; his life stone, death stone, memory stone & soul stone (plus the scroll of the Demodragon). Here's an idea on what he looks like;

Will Donnie & Raph be in Book 1? : 

No. 

will any of the original characters be back? : 

no. They will be mentioned but other than that, nope.
