~ suna pov ~

i woke up and noticed that the others were still asleep. I got my stuff ready setting it on my cot with a note. 

hey I went to go see y/n's first game if I'm needed please text me.

I went to the facilities where the gyms were being held and went to the gym y/n told me her game was. I noticed that it was against the nekoma girls team. I remember her complaining the first time meeting her in chat. I saw her go in the hall and followed to see her. She went to the bathroom. I waited a few minutes and she came out. I said good luck and gave her a hug. I walked with her back to the gym in a comfortable silence. We got to the gym doors. 

"Well good luck y/n you got this remember that." I grabbed her shoulders and slightly shook her. I gave her a quick hug and went to the stands as she went to the game. 

They won the first set.

then the second.

They were really happy and y/n looked at the stands. We made eye contact and I gave her a thumbs up. There next game was in a couple hours and was against a random team. She went to the food court and she told me to meet her there. I gladly did and gave her a great big bear hug. She wrapped her legs around me again and jumped off. I lived for this. 

"We made it past the first round."

"And you'll make it past the others!" I said to her. She nodded and we got smoothies. She was slightly ranting about the game and the sounds. 

"I'm boring you sorry. You talk." She said at the end fidgeting with her hands looking at them.

"No continue your only at the beginning of the second set. I promise you I'm interested." I took her hands so she'd stop fidgeting.

"Oh okay." She brightened up. she took away one of her hands but I was still holding the other one. I started to rub her hand with my thumb. When I noticed I blushed but didn't wanna stop. When I paused she looked at her hands and blushed looked at me then smiled. She continued and we went to watch some of the other female teams. I put my arm around her shoulder and we watched till her team called her back. She told me where her next game would be and that i'd be in 30 minutes. I went there to wait. I checked my phone to see kita just messaged me.

kita - hey our first game is against random team and you need to be back at 2 at gym 1 have fun watching your girlfriend

me - okay well the second game is gonna start soon

kita - oh and atsumu and osamu want to join where are you 

me - at at the facilities gym 7

kita - they'll be there soon

me - okay

I was kinda sad that the twins were gonna come. I knew y/n would be happy to see her friends. Soon the game started and the twins came a few minutes later.

"Hey when the game start." Atsumu asked a lightly out of breathe

"only like 6 minutes ago your fine."

the game went on and they won straight sets again. Since this was the last girls game of the day they had to clean up a little before the boys started to play. I met her in the hallway and gave her a big hug. She was tired and sweaty but I didn't care. It was only 12:15 so we had time to talk before our first game. She said she was gonna go change and that I could get her another smoothie. The twins and I went to the food court. The twins just followed behind me. I ordered it for her and we waited.

"How was her first game I bet she did great." atsumu asked

"Oh they won straight sets against nekomas girl team. and yeah she did great, we hung out for a couple hours before the last game started."

"lucky. If you would've told me about I would've joined you guys." atsumu said

"yeah I work up because you were cuddleing me saying 'i love you y/n' I woke you up before you could embarrass yourself in front of the whole team."

" hey!" he said obviously annoyed 

"wait really" i was holding in laughter 

"yeah i dream about her so what."

I couldn't hold it in and laughed until y/n came and sat next to me. "Whatch laughing about rin?" She said grabbing my hand under the table

"Just something stupid atsumu did again."

"Makes sense." She shrugged and started on her drink.

We started to chat about school and everything. Over time the hand y/n was holding made it's way on the table. I was rubbing her and with my thumb again. I noticed atsumu staring at it then shooting y/n and me jealous glances. He spoke up, "Hey it's 1:30 we would go to the gym."

"Lets go." Osamu said 

we walked to the gym and I stayed hand in hand with y/n. When we got there 10 minutes early. We stretched at y/n went to the stands. she pulled out her phone and it was kinda obvious she took a photo. We started the game later and won straight sets. When we got off the court y/n and I hugged and we decided to get the twins and I the smoothies that her and I had after her first game.

We hung out and then decided to watch some of the other games. We found karasuno's game and they won. Y/n cheered and yelled very loud. Her and noya were jumping around. soon we had to go to our game and y/n, noya, and some kid named tanaka joined. Tanaka was praising y/n and their manager kiyoko so much it made my stomach twist. We ended up winning the second match too. I head y/n screaming the whole time. 

We went back to the hotel and said goodby for the day.

Each team had mini celebrations for making it passed the first day. Not expecting what was gonna happen tomorrow.
