"So have you contacted the mystery man yet?" Maggs was so excited that I talked to someone new. She didn't even mention the fight we had last night and forced me to tell her why I went back to the dorm late. To be honest I don't know why I went to the bar with Kai. I never did anything like it.

"No, I haven't, and his name is Kai," I plopped on my bed.

"Okay, do it now, so I can see your reaction when he asks you out," she gave me the note.

"Uh, I don't know I just met him," Maggie sat down in front of me.

"You have to, no guy just asks a girl that they ran into at a bar and then gives them their number. This is a once in a lifetime chance," she was so happy.

"Okay, fine," I responded

"Yes,"

"As long as you don't follow me, okay," I demanded.

"I don't follow you," her voice went up two octaves trying to deny the truth.

"Seriously, you were behind a bush the last time I went on a date."I crossed my arms.

"Fine, I promise that I won't follow you. And the only time I did was when you were dating Kaleb."

"Don't you ever say that name again?" I slapped her on her arm.

"I will if you contact the mystery Kai like now," Maggie always pushed me to go out of my comfort zone.

"Okay, hand me my phone," I asked

"Yes, I win," she hands me my phone with a smile on her face.

I grabbed my phone, with a feeling of nervousness, with a little bit of excitement when I started dialing his number and put it straight to the speaker. It started ringing and my heart skipped a beat.

"Hello."

Oh My God!

"Hi, Kai this is Melissa from-" I replied but Kai interrupted me.

"From the bar, yes, I remember you." He sounded a little different on the phone. It was weird.

"O-Okay good," I stuttered

"You called me sooner than I thought you would," he had a little shock in his voice. "Miss me already?" He jocked.

"No, I-I was thinking about last night and I never told you that I had fun," Maggie had a big smile on her face.

"You did?" Kai said sarcastically.

"Yeah, it was nice talking open up to someone other than my roommate,"

"Well I'm glad you had a fun time, I also had a great time," Ah, he's so sweet.

"Wow, only great," I laughed out,

"Haha, Okay I had a wonderful time. Is that better"

"Yes, much."

"Before I forget but did you and your friend talk it out?" he asked. I got off of my bed and started to head to the bathroom to talk to him in private. And locked the door.

"Uh, no we didn't," I took it off of the speaker.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Kai sounded truly sorry for me. "But, I was thinking this call was going to be about something else."

"What did you have in mind?" I questioned.

"Like if you wanted to meet up again," my heart started to race again.
