A Herb cookie and Sparkling Cookie story

Chapter 1

Herb cookie
I begin to walk into Princess Cookies birthday party, she was turning 21 this year so she's super excited to try alcohol. Personally I don't drink but it's her birthday so why not. I put on something casual yet formal for this event, it was a brown sweater with a white button down shirt on underneath with black dress pants and some healed shoes. But I see most of the guests have definitely overdone themselves with their elaborate outfits. As I walked in I grabbed a glass of water over on one of the beverage table and I proceeded to stand in the back of the ballroom. I don't usually get invited to go to parties like these. I do remember recalling Princess cookie asking me to arrange some flowers for her. I began to look around and noticed the flower arrangements all over the ball, it definitely put a smile on my face.

Sparkling cookie
Ugh another busy night. I was cleaning a glass while looking around the huge ballroom and noticed many familiar faces including my most popular guest Vampire cookie, then there was Knight cookie, Mint Choco cookie, Yogurt cream cookie, along with Lilac cookie, oh and Herb cookie. Wait hold on! I turn my head and my eyes widened as I began to stare at Herb in the back. He looked so lovely tonight I just wish there was a way I could invite him over here?

Vampire cookie
"Darling you look fabulous tonight, and only 21 you'll age like fine wine" the princess awkwardly laughed and thanked me. I then noticed the Sparkling staring at Herb, ah young love. I give a little chuckle as I sip the last of my wine. "Oh would you excuse me your Grace" she nodded and I levitated over to sparklings bar "Oh Sparky~ a little more wine" I say sitting down at the bar.

Sparkling cookie
Snapping out of my trance I quickly pour Vampire cookie his drink. "Terribly sorry about that, also can you not call me that" ugh I hate it when he gives me weird nicknames like that. Like come on can't he be creative.

Vampire cookie
"Soooo~ who were you looking at?" I say as I stir my drink with my nail with my head resting on my other hand.

Sparkling cookie
I begin to blush a little "It was uh- um no one". I just want to survive tonight.

Vampire cookie
"Oh please! I see how you look at Herb cookie. You should ask the cutie out. I mean if you won't I will" I say giving him a sinister look.

Sparkling cookie
"Look I mean I guess asking him out is an option" I say scratching my head awkwardly. "Wait a minute! Aren't you interested in Mint Choco what would you need Herb for?".

Vampire cookie
"They're both cute who said I only wanted one cutie?" Sparkling looked very surprised but honestly it isn't the most surprising thing about me. Wait until he finds out my younger sister is alchemist cookie.

Sparkling cookie
I swear this man is the most fruity regular I've ever had. Then suddenly some slower music came on and the lights dimmed a bit. Okay maybe this will be my chance! "I'll be back" I say to Vampire cookie as I leave the bar area to go over to him, some ladies kept asking me to dance but I only had eyes for Herb cookie.

Herb cookie
Hm? Oh I guess it's the slow dance time. *sigh* I'm just going to go it's not like I wanted to dance anyways. I put the empty glass of water down on one of the tables and headed for the exit.

Sparkling cookie
Herb started to head towards the exit, please I just need to get through! "Herb!" I yell through the crowd.

Herb cookie
Suddenly I hear someone yell me name, I turned to see who it was. It... it was Sparkling cookie.

Sparkling cookie
I was able to push through and I met eyes with Herb. "I uh erm, well what I'm trying to say is. Would you like to dance?". I then held out my hand for him to take if he was going to take it.

Herb cookie
Are my ears deceiving me? Did I hear that correctly? Did sparkling ask me to dance? Like I mean we've talked a couple of times and he's kinda cute come to think of it, how his bubbly hair sometimes falls down his face and his button down shirt with the green suspenders and the black healed boots. "Sure" I barely uttered out as I took his hand and was pulled across the dance floor. I've never been more happy in my life what is happening.

Sparkling cookie
Oh my gosh he took my hand! I can't believe I asked him to dance with me. I knew other cookies were staring at us and especially after I yelled his name. But that's okay, let them stare!

Vampire cookie
"Young love, so beautiful." They would be such a beautiful couple I swear, but it's too bad I couldn't have Herbby to myself.

Mint Choco
I walked over to sit with Vampire cookie after my shift before the slow dance song, which is being sung by Carol cookie. Then I notice him looking at Herb and sparkling dancing. "Hey Vamp did you have anything to do with that?" I asked him as I sat next to him. Usually he likes to play match maker but it doesn't always go good for him most of the time.

Vampire cookie
I look over to Mint Choco and just shook my head "this was entirely Sparklings idea, he is truly a genius." I say as I sip on my wine.

Herb cookie
The music started to come to an end and I wish this moment would last forever I'd hate for it to stop. As the music quieted out Sparkling twirled me and we dipped and he planted a peck on my lips and brought me back up hands in hands. I was still so baffled with what just happened, it was like a fairy tale. "Sparkling I-"

Sparkling cookie
"I'm sorry It just happened in the moment I just I-" I was blushing so hard I can't believe I just kissed him, I felt like I'm going to explode!

Herb cookie
I smiled and placed my hand on his cheek to calm him and after he was rambling he instantly stopped and looked at me. "Just stop talking please" I laugh as I bring him in for a hug. He was so stiff but loosened after a bit and humbly embraced me.
