A Party, Part 2

AT THE PARTY

??? POV:

All the candy citizens were dancing along with all the princesses. Princess Bubblegum noticed Fern and Y/n walk in, "Oh hey guys!" Bubblegum said as she walked to them, "Wait is Y/n okay? Did they get hurt or something?" She asked as she noticed Fern was holding them, "Oh, uh, no. They were just tired so I decided i'd carry them!" Fern said as he looked down shyly.
"That's a relief! Alright well, have fun guys. I'm gonna go talk to the others here, talk to you guys later." Princess Bubblegum then left them and the teens went to the punch table.

"Hey Fern, this is your first party isn't it?" Y/n asked as they poured their self some punch, "Well, yeah actually. I mean I have some memories from when I was Finn, but this is my first party as myself" Fern said as he rubbed the back of his head, "Since it's your first party, let's make sure it's enjoyable!" Y/n chugged the rest of their punch and slammed it on the tabel, "Let's play some games!"

Y/n grabbed Ferns hand and brought him to the games, "Soo..Which one should we play?" Fern looked at all the games and said, "How about balls and coconuts?" Y/n let go of his hand and said, "Alright, fine by me" And walked to the game.
"You wanna go first?" Y/n asked,
"Of course!" Fern said as he picked up the bucket of balls and and backed up.

He stretched a little bit then started to throw the balls hitting every coconut except the last one, "Aw, what?! Come on.." He then stood next to Y/n, they did the same as Fern.

Once they were ready the threw the balls at the coconuts, surprisingly hitting every single one.

"What!!?" Fern blurted out, "I, uh, I mean good job! How did you manage to do that?" He asked, "Dumb luck I guess..?" Y/n felt their cheeks start to heat up, "But you did really good too!" They then laughed a little and continued, "Okay, next game!"

Y/n and Fern continued to play every game.

"Hey PB.." LSP started, "Soo...What if we like, got everyone to play truth or dare? Or even like....Seven minutes in heaven? This party is SO lame, someone needs to spics it up and that someone will be me."
PB thought for a second, "Hm...Well I guess we could play truth or dare? I think spin the bottle is a little....too much." LPS rolled her eyes, "Alright whatever."

"ALRIGHT EVERYONE, LISTEN UP.EVERYONE HERE IS PLAYING TRUTH OR DARE, SO COME GATHER AROUND IN A CIRCLE!" LSP yelled, "Ooo~ Let's go Fern!" Y/n grabbed Ferns hand causing him to blush, "Uh, Oh okay! Let's go.." Fern blurted out, he didn't exactly WANT to play but he did want to hang out with Y/n.
"Okaay, now thay everyones here let's started. PB, truth or dare?" LPS asked Princess Bubblegum, "I'll go with dare this time."

"I dare you to say I, Lumpy Space Princess, is WAY better than you. Go on!" LSP laughed a little while PB was confused, "Whaaat? Okay, LPS you're waay better than me." Lumpy Space Princess recorded the whole thing si she could have a clip of PB admitting that she's better, "LSP, you know that you wasted your turn right?"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

"Okay, Fern, truth or dare?" Fern, didn't except to be chosen so quickly, "Dare!" He shouted, "I dare you to go in that closet" PB pointed towards the closest closet, "with the person of your choosing."

Fern looked around with a slightly darker green showing on his cheeks, "I—-I guess Y/n..?" He got up and went in front of them and put his hand out, "Let's go I guess" Y/n got up and followed Fern into the closet, "You guys need to stay there for 10 minutes!" PB shouted at them, they then shut the door.

They were stuck in the closet with each other.

INSIDE THE CLOSET

"I'm sure you know what we're suppose to do in here but we really dont have to. We can just pretend like we kissed or something if they ask." Y/n said as they sat down, Fern sat down in front of them, "Yeah..of course dude"

A few minutes passed as they sat down in silence.

"Hey uh.." Fern blushed as he scooted clossd to Y/n, "Yeah?" Y/n tilted their head a little to the side, Fern then kissed them.
Y/n felt their cheeks heat up, as Fern pulled away he realized that he actually kisses them.

"I'm..I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" Y/n then pecked his lips and laughed a little, "Don't apologize Fern! You don't need to apologize everytime you do something with me." Y/n put their hand on his shoulder and smiled, "Does this mean we're like..a thing now?" Fern asked.."I don't think i'm ready to date you..It's honestly just me! I really like you, I just think we should get to know each other more."

Fern was a little hurt by the rejection but understood, "Yeah, I get it." He looked down and started talking again, "So—-" But before he could finish the sentence the door opened, "Hey, uh, guys..PB was the one paying attention to the time but she kinda disappeared along with Slime Princess and Flame Princess. Anyways i'm sure your times up." LSP said, but Y/n was distacted by the fact that their princess was missing, "WAIT, Bubblegums missing? I'm gonna go find her, Fern you can come along of course, but that's your choice."
Y/n then left the closet and soon after the Candy Kingdom.

By the time they were outside of the kingdom Fern was right behind them, "Hey, Y/n wait! Of course im gonna help so don't just leave. Princess Bubblegums my boss and she's kinda like family to you, I'm not gonna let you go off alone."

Y/n stopped speed walking and turned around, "Thanks Fern, I need to make a stop at the treehouse and get my sword but right after lets go on a search for PB and the other princesses."
  "Looks like your the boss Y/n, let's go to the treehouse."

AT THE TREEHOUSE

Y/n quickly got their sword from their room while Fern waited at the door, "OKAY FERN IM COMING DOW—-"

As Y/n was talking they got cut off by a loud boom and a white light..

OKAY!! Sorry for the short chapter AND cliffhanger but I didn't have so many ideas and I wanted things to speed up a bit. I hope you guys enjoyed this and uhh if you have any requests for my new adventure time oneshot book lmk! I'd recommend checking the rules tho[yummy]
