Wave mission P-1

"Mission successful, Hokage-sama." The team stood right in front of the Hokage and other instructors that sat right next to Minato himself! Most notable was Iruka.

A lady came up to them and had a huge and kind smile on her face.

"Aww. . . thank you all so much for catching my sweet and kind soul." She took the cat, Tora, away and held her very, very tightly. Menma was slightly sweat-dropped at that sight.

No wonder that cat wants to run away. He thought, diverting his eyes away from them and focused right on their next mission. God, he was getting tired of these same repetitive missions over and over again.

" So sensei do you have another mission for us? I prefer it to be a higher one this time, I believe the team is ready for it."

" Well there is this C-rank I can give them.." said Minato

" A C-rank! let's get it sensei, I'm so sick and tired of painting fences and dig up plants! Let's do some real ninja missions!" exclaimed Menma to Kakashi.

" Hold on Menma, let's see what the mission is first. Sensei?" said Kakashi asking if Minato would keep reading.

" It's a simple mission where you are to guard the bridge builder, Tazuna, back to Nami no Kuni, the land of the waves. Let him in!" said the Hogake.

As soon as he said that, an old man who looked over the age of sixty, and the smell of alcohol reeking off of him.

" This is the team that's going to protect me, they're nothing but little kids. The black hair looks like emo, that boys red hair is making me go blind, and the blonde-" he then looked at Naruto and shivered," he gives me the creeps."

After trying to control Menma and Suki because they were trying to kill Tazuna, they went off to go get their supplies, but before they left, Minato said something to Naruto.

"Yes, Hokage-sama?". Minato looked at his son in a bit of sadness. "Take care of yourself, Naruto. Listen to your sensei and be safe". Naruto snarled. "You think that I'm stupid and weak like all those years ago, huh? That I'm still the weak little child you pestered away?! Newsflash, Hokage-sama but I've outgrown you and that little family love of yours. Is that all?" he asked, looking at Minato's saddened face, trying to hold back tears.

" N-No... That's it. Good luck". Naruto nodded and left the office, leaving the Hokage to weep in his office alone

Naruto arrived at the gates and saw the two others there alongside Tazuna. They immediately saw Naruto and raised an eyebrow at him, expecting a reason on why he was late.

"You're late, Naruto," said Menma, looking at him as he neared the two of them. Naruto nodded, knowing that he was late to the occasion. But it seems like Kakashi wasn't here yet either.

God, this will take some time. Naruto thought, looking up into the sky as they waited for their sensei to finally arrive at the destination that they were all at.

Naruto wanted to know something so he asked his so-called brother " What happened to Sakura?" He asked looking at menma.

Menma looked at naruto with a shocked expression his brother was actually talking to him, He smiled and answered his question " Kakashi sensie took your suggestion and took out sakura from our team and placed in the medical ninja field, even though she disagreed after a good lecture from dad she accepted"

Naruto nodded sakura would only get in his way so it was for the best that she was kicked out of the team.

It took some time, but he finally arrived just a few minutes before an hour was created. "You're even later than Naruto," said Menma, complaining at Kakashi's tardiness.
