On the continent of Westeros where Lords and Ladies of different houses govern the lands, these lands are divided into different Regions or formerly regarded as Kingdoms. Each region is headed by a Warden or a Lord Paramount with their bannermen, smaller noble houses of each region. Each noble house shall be headed by a Lord or a Lady governing a village, town or a city, have their own fortress, army and sigil and shall swear allegiance to one Lord Paramount and one King of Westeros. These houses have provided Westeros with the opportunity for greatness and have peacefully governed their people for a greater future.

The Kingdom of the North is lead by the ancestral house of House Stark and seat of power lies in Winterfell a city lying in the northern part of the region, with the sigil of a running grey direwolf on an ice-white field. The members of House Stark are often regarded as wolves and their current head is Lord Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Lord Paramount or Warden of the North. Behind him are his bannermen who have their own fortress and towns to govern. The houses of the North include House Bolton of the Dreadfort, House Cerwyn of the Cerwyn, House Dustin of Barrowton, House Fisher of the Stony Shore, House Flint of Flint's Finger, House Flint of Widow's Watch, House Glover of Deepwood Motte, House Greystark of the Wolf's Den, House Hornwood of Hornwood, House Karstark of Karhold, House Locke of Oldcastle, House Mormont of the Bear Island, House Ryder of the Rills, House Slate of Blackpool, House Stout of Goldgrass, House Tallhart of Torren's Square, House Umber of the Last Hearth, House Whitehill of Highpoint, House Reed of the Greywater Watch, House Crowl of Deepdown, House Magnar of Kingshouse, House Stane of Driftwood and House Manderly of White Harbor. These are the bannermen of House Stark and at the same time rulers of their own towns. There are other villages protected by small houses of the North such as House Amber, House Ashwood, House Cassel, House Condon, House Frost, House Greenwood, House Holt, House Ironsmith, House Lake, House Lightfoot, House Long, House Marsh, House Mollen, House Moss, House Overton, House Poole, House Redbeard, House Thenn, House Towers, House Waterman, House Wells, House Woolfield, House Blackmyre, House Boggs, House Cray, House Fenn, House Greengood, House Peat, House Quagg, House Burley, House Harclay, House Knot, House Liddle, House Norrey, House Wull, House Bole, House Branch, House Forrester and House Woods. Together they strengthen the largest region of Westeros and support the Starks in every war.

The Kingdom of the Riverlands is closely related to the Starks of Winterfell because the wife of the Lord Paramount of the North is the daughter of the Lord Paramount of the Riverlands. The Riverlands is commanded by House Tully with the seat of power at Riverrun. Riverrun is the capital of the region and holds the majestic city headed by Lord Hoster Tully, Lord of Riverrun and Lord Paramount of the Riverlands. Their sigil is a leaping silver trout on a rippling blue and red field. Their bannermen, regarded as the Houses of Riverlands include House Bracken of Stone Hedge, House Butterwell of Whitewalls, House Cox of Saltpans, House Darry of Darry, House Fisher of the Misty Isles, House Frey of the Crossing, House Mallister of Seagard, House Mooton of Maidenpool, House Mudd of Oldstones, House Nayland of Hag's Mire, House Piper of Pinkmaiden, House Roote of Lord Harroway's Town, House Ryger of Willow Wood, House Smallwood of Acorn Hall, House Vance of Atranta, House Vance of Wayfarer's Rest and House Blackwood of Raventree Hall. House Clegane of Harrenhall however is a house and fortress located in the Riverruns but their loyalties are with the Lannisters of Casterly Rocks. Like the North, Riverlands have small towns and villages protected by small houses as well. These include House Bigglestone, House Blanetree, House Chambers, House Charlton, House Deddings, House Erenford, House Goodbrook, House Grell, House Grey, House Haigh, House Heddle, House Hook, House Justman, House Keath, House Lolliston, House Lychester, House Nutt, House Paege, House Pemford, House Perryn, House Shawney, House Teague, House Terrick, House Vypren, House Wayn and House Wode.
