Red String- Dino Pt. 1

At the Museum

"Noona~" he whispered as I feel his breath on my ears so I turn around, "Oh Channie, you're here. I thought you're busy" I said, still shocked but at the same time I'm happy that he came, "You believe that I won't come? Of course I will come, I want to see your paintings" he pinches my right cheek, "Uhm for you, congrats" he said as he handed me the bucket of flower that he was holding, "Thank you Channie" I said as I took the bucket of the flower.

"Is that a red thread of fate?" He asked as he pointed to my painting in front of us, "Yes, I painted that because I remember my childhood friend" "Childhood friend?" He asked, making sure that he was hearing it right, "Mhm" I hummed

FLASHBACK
At the Playground

"Dino-yah" I called his name as I sat beside him, "Why?" He asked without looking at me, "Give me your hand" I said as I offered my hand to him but he just gave me a judgemental look, "Don't look at me like that, give me your hand, I won't cut it" I said calmly and he already gave his hand to me, "Don't move" I said as I took the red thread in my pocket and tie the end of the thread to his pinky finger, I also do the same to my pinky finger. "Noona, what's this for?" He asked as he showed me his pinky finger where I tie the thread, "I just saw it in the movie, they say that the two-person connected by the red thread can be destined lover but I'm not sure about that" I explained.

"Chaewon! It's time to go home" my mom shouted, "Dino, I have to go, see you tomorrow" I stand up and remove the thread on my finger, "Noona, you forgot your thread—" "Just keep it!" I shouted because I'm already far away from him.

Next day

"Mom, can I go to the playground?" I asked as I act cute in front of her, "Just be careful, okay? Don't talk to strangers" "Thank you, mom! I have to go" I said as I run towards the door.

I already arrived at the playground, I can saw many kids playing but I didn't saw Dino around. "Hey, are you looking for the boy who always on the bench?" The kid asked, "Yeah, do you saw him?" I asked calmly, "No, I think his mother didn't allow him to go outside" "Oh thank you," I said and I walked to Dino's house since it's just near to the playground.

"Dino? Are you there?" I asked as I rang the doorbell and her mother came, "Chaewon~ Are you here for Dino?" "Yes, is he there" "Yes, come in, it's cold out here."

"Noona, you're here," he said as he smiled widely, "Why you're not at the playground?" I asked, "My mom didn't allow me because I'm sick," he said and his smile faded away, "Then why you're sad? You'll be okay soon, right?" I asked, "Yes but, we need to move out" he said, he was about to cry but I stop him, "Yah, don't cry. We can still meet" I said and I hugged him tightly.

"NOONA!" Dino shouted outside in our house so I come out quickly. "Oh, Dino" I whispered to myself and I open the gate, "Noona, I'm going to miss you," he said and hugged me, "I'm going to miss you too" I hugged him back. Before he utter, he removed his hug from me. "Noona we're going to move out right now" "Take care of yourself, okay?" And he nodded. "Dino, are you ready?" Her mother asked and he just nodded again, "Let's go" his mother said to him, "Have a safe trip auntie" I said before they leave.

After that day, we didn't meet again.

About Chaewon amd Dino/Chan:

Chaewon doesn't know that Dino and Chan is just one person and Dino doesn't know that his childhood friend was Chaewon because he doesn't know her real name so he call Chaewon 'Noona'
