"Can we trust..this Gen guy?" Luna asks as she walked to where the blonde haired man is standing.

"Trust?" Stanley asks, turning his head to the girl. "Anyone who trusts an enemy who just double-crossed his own people needs an appointment with the head doctor. We'll pump him for intel, but keep him at arm's length otherwise, odds are he's a spy."

There's nothing for him to do but to go with the flow. It's no secret from everyone that [Name] have some sort of special spot for Luna, making the pinkette her favorite for the time being, alongside Maya and Charlotte obviously.

Luna was silent for a moment before replying frantically, "R-right, sure. I mean, duh. Obviously! I realized that too. That was just me testing you, Stanley. I didn't think you'd get careless, but I have to be sure!"

She kept glancing at her back and walked a little slower, in which Stanley never failed to notice.

"What's the holdup, Luna?"

"N-no holdup! You're just moving too fast!"

The sound of footsteps calmed her nerves down. She mentally thank them for arriving sooner or else she wouldn't know what to do in this very awkward atmosphere.

"Carlos! Max! You're too slow! How hard could it be to carry water?"

"But why do we need this much water?" Carlos asks.

"I would never complain about it, Miss Luna! Unlike this sneaky playboy right here."

"Useless, the two of you." She said before carrying some of it in her arms. "If you want a job done right, I guess you just have to do it yourself! I'll have to carry some of them!"

"No way!" Carlos interjected. "I'll carry every last one if I have to."

"What, now you're up for the job? Why don't you take a nap while I carry the cargo?"

And then the two got into a scuffle, with each other. Stanley lit up a cigarette, a way for him to relieve some stress. He is now questioning why would he even consider them to be part of the team.

"You're not carrying a thing, Luna." He said. "That's non-negotiable. Not a thing, you hear? That heavy stuff that could leave marks in your body and you got a job to do."

"A job?" She questioned and look around to see that the h/c nette is not here, Luna was informed earlier that the woman was suppose to be with them, "Where's [Name]?"

The blonde haired man answered coldly, "That's none of your concern."

"They sent her, Carlos and Max?" [Name] asked Brody who confirmed her suspicions.

He was confused on why both Xeno and Stanley would lie to her. Most of them knew what they are planning, everyone except her.

Without further redo, the h/c nette walked passed him and the other guards who doesn't want to face her wrath at the moment.

She didn't even changed her clothes as she picked a rifle and went out without saying anything.

As her figured could no longer be seen in sight, they then remembered that the silver haired scientist specifically told them to watch her and now she just walked out of the base, leaving them dumbfounded.
