"Are you just going to stand around mutely?" The boss asked another question after his first one received no answer, but at this point, he was simply provoking. It seemed as though his words snapped the group back into reality, everyone started nervously exchanging looks, even the soldiers seemed clueless for the most part. The boss carefully observed them through the eyeholes in his blank, white mask, analysing every motion they made to prevent unwanted surprise attacks. He intended to maintain the advantage for as long as possible, but some resistance was to be expected… Ironically, just as he finished that thought, Aegis started up the attack. A soldier in one of Aegis' vehicles outside finally got a rough estimate on the boss's location; a radio the woman with ram horns had equipped was used to update the outside forces on the situation. A burst of 5 rounds was fired and the bullets effortlessly dug through the brick wall and reached their target, but failed to execute him. They became stuck halfway in the boss's skull, who froze up for a moment. "Oh…" He silently said, the earlier cheerful personality having vanished with the flick of a switch. "Guess I underestimated the strength of those." With his free hand, he slowly began taking the bullets out of his skull, creating an extremely uncomfortable cracking sound as some he had to force more than others.

"Fuck's this guy made out of?!" Reuel thought upon witnessing the gruesome sight. He clenched his fist and crouched down, about to initiate the attack before the boss can activate the detonator. He was clearly agitated by that failed attempt at overturning the situation in Aegis' favour, and just as he took out the final bullet, another surprise came out of the blue. The burst of bullets were but a fake-out, and before Reuel could attack, a flash of light blinked past the boss's wrist and separated it from the rest of the arm.

"Huh?" The boss looked over and saw his hand get cut off by the white flash. Before he fully realised he lost his gambit, Yuu saw an opening, put all his might behind a throw of his jet-powered invention and boosted it forward for additional power, hitting the masked man in the temple and throwing him backwards. Reuel joined in as well and leapt forward, landing a strong clean hit to the boss's jaw, sending him flying further into the back of the warehouse. After landing, however, Reuel looked down at his fist with furrowed brows.

"That didn't feel right… His head's insanely hard. There's no way I killed 'im with that." While almost everyone hurried to try to defuse the devices attached to the hostages, Reuel decided to keep watch of their target, who was flung off and stayed motionless on the ground.

"Yo, are you guys alive?" A familiar voice sounded through the opening in the wall Reuel broke down. Ku stood there with Yin behind him. "Guess our surprise attack worked," he proudly exclaimed as he looked over the situation. The white object flashed through the air again and landed in Ku's hand. Upon closer inspection, it was a miniature greatsword the size of a finger.
Ku Sujeong: ability – Sandbox.
The tiny greatsword grew back into its original size and Ku leaned it against his shoulder.
His ability allows him to "select" any non-living object by touching it twice, and afterwards, he possesses complete control over it – colour, shape, size... Every aspect becomes Ku's playground.

"I told you, that if you followed my orders, we'd succeed," Yin said calmly, but with a hint of annoyance.
Yin Himitsu: ability – Sword Creation.
The prodigious Guild member was bestowed the ability to generate melee weapons from a glowing white substance her skin produces and then control their every motion. Their design isn't limited to existing swords, and as such, Yin can get creative with them.

"Ah… Amazing!" Lilly yelled out after getting over her immobilising fear, which very quickly turned into happiness. She tapped her earpiece and activated it, contacting their instructor who stayed in the station. "Miss Asuma! We did it! We caught the leader!" On the other end of the earpiece, Asuma tried to keep her excitement in check and thus she let out only a cute, excited squeal, praising the group right after. They did well for their first mission.
Yuu, Min and Ku formed a group that was attempting to free the hostages of the devices. Unfortunately, their attempts weren't getting them anywhere. Large nails bolted the machinery to the hostages' chests and no wires were exposed anywhere.
