*** PORCHE' ***
As I look into the soft waves of the sea,
"I still remember how we've met."
I murmured softly and Phi Pete turned towards me. He didn't utter a word but I could feel that he's listening..
"It was sometime in march....two years ago"
(SOMETIME IN MARCH Two years ago.)
I sauntered through the crowd of briskly dancing bodies as I tried to look for my friends on the dance floor. My aching legs felt so heavy from the hours of dancing and prancing around like a headless chicken. Who wouldn't? If the vibe is so vibrant and happy like this?
"Ooopsie!Coming through."
I murmured unconsciously as I stumbled upon someone who was dancing heavily. My shoulders bumped the girl's back and she glared at me icily that I bowed to apologize.
The few drinks that I have consumed has gotten me drunk and now walking aimlessly through the crowd. If my Phi sees me like this, I would really receive an earful.
I need to find Awut and Charoen, my best friends, and tell him that I must be going home now. It's a Friday night and Phi isn't going to be home until two am but I need to follow the house rules or else I would really be dead!
Since he started working at Jaye Jade's shop, Phi hasn't been home until late at mid dawn and I was left on my own most of the time.
So being the free guy that I am, I agreed to join two of my friends and checked out this new club around the campus. I don't usually go to clubs like this because I am a homebody, always choosing to stay at home instead of partying around. But today, I wanted to relax and chill out some stress caused by the series of exams we finished today, besides I have no plan of getting ourselves drunk or anything. But boy, I was wrong! It's true that plans get damned once a girl is involved!
The atmosphere earlier when we came in was typically fine but now it is packed with people dancing around. The two other tables beside ours were occupied by some ladies who seemed to be in the same group and have been glancing at us since we arrived.
Awut and Charoen were looking back at them like a love-deprived puppies and I snorted in disbelief until one of the ladies approached our table. Her name was Fa Ying and told us that two other friends of hers want to get acquainted with us, so the two silly bastards in front of me invited them over and the flirting game began.
Okay..I let them flirt all they want since I will be going home after an hour anyway...
or so I thought.
But an hour became five-long hours of talking, laughing, drinking, and dancing around. I enjoyed the girl's company specially Kaew. She was sweet, intelligent and a nursing student at the same university we are currently attending. They said that nurses tend to be the most caring lover one could have and it seemed to be true.
Kaew was nothing but caring to me. She kept my glass full with liquor, pitch in snacks into my mouth, wipes my lips and checks my back to wipe with a dry towel because it was wet with sweat. But to be frank, I don't like her, I mean, I like her but not romantically or in anything I that sense.
I haven't been in love with anyone so I am not really sure how I could tell if I'm into someone or not. At least, no one has taken my attention that hard enough to have me sweeping on my feet like how my friends acted today.
As I turn around to continue looking for Awut and Charoen, who I believe is now dirty dancing with the two ladies they are flirting with, I suddenly bumped into a body. It caught me by surprise that I stumbled and almost fall. Luckily, the man was fast and held me by the arm before my face came in contact with the floor.
