It had taken Simon a long time to come to terms with his feelings for Harry, and once he did, he couldn't muster up the courage to tell the younger, or anyone for that matter. Harry had always been braver than Simon could ever be, took the first step at a party at Tobi's. They were sat on the balcony and Simon hadn't even noticed the others had already gone back inside when Harry told him so effortlessly that he liked him, as more than just a friend and Simon had looked at him for seconds, minutes, before saying it back. Harry had smiled and Simon wanted to kiss him right then and there, but they were sat in front of massive windows, the curtains drawn back, so he didn't.

A few days later they were in a crowded club and had found the privacy they needed because Harry had pulled Simon into the bathrooms, and there they had shared their first kiss before returning to the others. Simon wanted more, could have taken Harry home with him that night because JJ was at his girlfriend's, but he didn't want to rush things, so he enjoyed the view of Harry dancing in front of him instead.

They took things slow, went on their first date and shared nothing more than a kiss while they were sat in the cinema. After the film they had sat on a bench at the South Bank, watching the river Thames, and they had talked for hours before Simon asked Harry what he wanted them to be. Harry gave him the confirmation he needed, said he wanted to be his.

They decided to keep their relationship to themselves at first, wanted to see how things would evolve. They didn't only have mutual friends, but they were part of the same community, part of the Sidemen, didn't want to tell them too soon in case it didn't work out. Neither Simon nor Harry had ever had a boyfriend, so things were just a little different.

It seemed a wise choice not to tell their friends, though it proved to be more difficult as time went on. They went on dates, but true privacy was sparse, couldn't simply take the other home after dinner or a film, so they started inviting each other over when their housemates weren't at home. It was a month after they had started dating that they had sex for the first time while Cal was away for the night.

Now they were three months into their relationship, and things were going amazingly. It was exciting at first, sneaking around, secretive touches and stealing kisses while the others weren't looking but it became almost impossible to get a moment alone without seeming suspicious. They still hadn't told the others, didn't even dare to think about going public to their fans.

Irritations started to run high because Simon barely got to talk to Harry at shoots. They kept being put on opposite teams in Sidemen videos like faith was trying to keep them apart. It had gotten so bad that they even got interrupted when Harry and he were sexting one evening because JJ had knocked at Simon's door, saying his computer had crashed and if Simon could help him fix it. Simon informed Harry, saying he would be right back, but it ended up taking over an hour and when he got back to his room, he saw Harry had texted him that he was going to sleep.

They were at Harry's apartment a few days later because Cal went out on a date. He usually went home with the girl, and if not, he always texted Harry that he was on his way home, giving Simon enough time to leave if needed. They quickly moved to Harry's bedroom when Simon arrived, and Simon wished there wasn't any need to rush.

They often had a quick fuck, and if there was any time left, they would cuddle in bed and talk, but more often than not, there wasn't because one of their housemates would come home again soon. It was almost like their sexual and romantic relationships were two separates, deep conversations saved for dates, ending in both of them going home alone, and the sex was just that, sex, nothing more. So many times, Simon had asked Harry to stay the night, and Harry had asked him the same, but they didn't want JJ nor Cal to find out about them like that, so Simon would always have the bed to himself, way too big, way too empty without Harry.
