Takao's POV

I felt the warm sun on my back, I also felt my arms around something, no...someone. My eyes flashed open to see a sleeping Midorima. I smiled and watched his chest slowly rise and fall. It wasn't just a dream. This is really happening, this is really my life. I didn't know what to do with myself I was so happy. It'd been a long time since I felt truly happy. I reached up and caressed his face. Maybe I can surprise him with breakfast!
I slowly eased my way out of the bed only to suddenly be dragged back into the warmth of Midorima's arms.
"Hmmm-mm nott yettt. Want more snugglesss...hmm" Midorima sleepily croaked out. I'd never heard him talk that way and it was so cute. I turned to face him and kissed his nose.
"But I'm hungry." I pouted.
"Fine..I don't wanna move though." He rubbed his eyes and looked at me. All I could do was smile. I got up off the bed again and opened my door. I could hear the rustle of blankets and I knew that Midorima was going to follow me down stairs.
"Where are my glasses?" He asked as I turned around to see him confused and looking around. I walked over to him and picked up the glasses that were on my nightstand. I slid them on his face and he grinned.
"Now I can your pretty face!" He gave me a hug and I just accepted all the love. I always knew he was more emotional when he woke up but I never knew how affectionate he was. I walked down the stairs with Shintaro practically on top of me, I didn't mind though.
I began grabbing pancake mix out of the cupboards. Midorima sat at the table nearby and laid his head on his arms. I made 2 pancakes for each of us and topped them both with a bunch of maple syrup.
"Ding ding ding, order up!" I called out as I set our plates on the table. His head raised up from its resting place and I watched his eyes sparkle. I sat across from him as we both ate our pancakes only making small talk about the food and each other.
After a while both of our plates were empty aside from the residue of the syrup. Midorima picked up both the plates and washed them. I tried to do it myself but he insisted that since I cooked he cleaned. After the plates were put away he turned around to see me sitting on one of the kitchen counters. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. He slid his tongue across my lips and I opened them slightly. Our tongues gave each other kisses as we both tasted the sweet taste of maple on each other's mouths. It was like a second breakfast. I always told myself that I never understood the concept of kissing with tongue and how gross it was, but now that I'm here sitting on a counter with the love of my life. All I want is to feel more of him. Our lips departed for air and then quickly reconnected. We decided to go out clothes on before things escalated. I'm not opposed to going there with him but I don't want to take things too fast.

Midorima's POV

The entire morning had felt like a dream. I didn't want to stop kissing Takao I wanted him to know how much I love him. We were walking upstairs to put clothes on and I saw the scars again. It made me sad but I just wanted him to know that I was here for him. I put on my clothes from yesterday as he slipped into a pair of jeans and a button up shirt. I wonder what it would do to him if I slowly unbuttoned his shirt? If I- SHINTARO STOP THINKING LIKE THAT!
"What do you wanna do today? It's a Saturday and we don't have practice until 6pm." Takao put on a pair of socks that matched his shirt, I always did admire his sense of style.
"Well we could go to my house so I can change into regular clothes. Plus on the way there I wanna talk to you about how public this relationship should be." I looked up at him and grabbed my school bag along with my gym bag.
"Yeah that sounds good!" We walked down the steps and he unlocked his front door.
"So what kinda questions you got Shin-Chan?"
"I'm not sure honestly. I just didn't know your opinion on telling people."
"Well I don't want to tell anyone but close friends for a while. I'm not out to my family and I doubt you are either."
"You're right...well I say we keep it to ourselves but don't hold back from any affection at practice. The team is gonna find out one way or  another."
"You're right, plus they've been calling us lovebirds since before we even got together! I'm sure it'll be fine." Takao smiled, I couldn't help but smile back. I didn't care if anyone found out. I loved him and that was all that mattered.

Takao's POV

We arrived at Midorima's house and we walked in. His little sister, who was the same age as my sister, said hi when we walked in. I smiled at her as Midorima just continued walking. We went up to his room and he closed the door. I sat on his bed as he looked through his closet.
He stopped at a pair of black jeans that were similar to mine. He took them off of the hanger and threw them onto the bed next to me. He began going through the shirt section of his closet. He decided on a plain white collared shirt, nothing out of the ordinary from what he usually wore.
"Wanna go to the store? There's a few things I wanna look at." Midorima asked as he pulled his shirt off over his head. That sounds like fun. Damn he's hot.
"Yeah sure that sounds nice." I watched as he slipped his pants off.
"Tsk tsk...my eyes are up here Kazunari-kun." He teased as a grin escaped his lips.

*time skip, at the store*

"All right so what was it you wanted to look at?" I asked as I just followed Midorima into the store.
"I wanted to look at clothes. I thought maybe we could get like a matching outfit," He sighed "maybe it's stupid idk."
"No! No I like it, it's cute! Plus this means I can up your style game." I smiled and we began to look through the men isles. We decided on getting matching light wash jeans but we hadn't found a shirt that we both liked yet.
"Hey Takao?"
"Yes?"
"You look for shirts, I'll be right back. I have to use the bathroom."
"Okay!" He walked off and I continued to look through the racks of shirts. I found one with flamingos all over it. Shin-Chan would hate this ha! I put it back slowly knowing I wanted to find something cute. I looked at a few more shirts before moving to the next rack of clothes. Hmm these look promising.

Midorima's POV

"Okay!" Takao responded as I made my way out of the men's clothing. I didn't like to lie but I just would've gotten embarrassed being honest. I made my way to the health isle and found the condoms and lube. Oh god what kind do I get? I should've done more research. All I know is to get a water-based lubricant. I looked through the different options. I hope I'm not taking too long. I found a bottle that looked fairly small, one that could fit in my pocket. I grabbed a box of condoms. I think large works. At least I hope so...shit. Where do I put the condoms. I should go to the self checkout and quickly buy this stuff but where do I put it?
I quickly walked over to the self checkout area and paid for my items. I put the lube in my pocket and the condoms in my other pocket. I don't think that he'll notice since I chose kinda baggy pants with big pockets on purpose. Even if he does hopefully it won't be until out of the store.
I found my way back to where Takao was, "Did you find a good shirt yet?"
"I think so, look!" He held up two black button up shirts with an orange pattern across the top.
"I like them." I responded. We went to the checkout and I paid for the jeans and shirts.

*time skip, it's been almost a month since Takao and Midorima got together. Neither of their family's know but their teammates and close friends all do. With both of their parents being home it's been hard to have alone time but today Takao's parents are leaving for a trip and his little sister is staying at a friends house. Tomorrow is Takao and Midorima's 1 month anniversary and both of them are thinking about what to do.
