It's been a few hours since Julia left, meaning my parents should be home from work. It's mid June which means it's summer vacation and with that being said I have to figure life out. But first I have to talk to my mom and dad about my career and life plan.

That plan is not going to college for a little while, with that time off I'll explore my love in photography and hopefully get some jobs in the photography business.

I mean, what's the worst that could happen.

As if it's the perfect timing, both of my parents arrive home at the same time. Once they get settled in I'll go down and talk to them. I have to think of what I'll say to them, I am not screwing this up.

Okay Aria, you can do this. Just walk down there, sit them down for a 'discussion', and tell them what you've got to say. Not too hard right? The worst that could happen is they'll lecture me for making a stupid desicion or kick me out and dis own me.

Okay, you're being ridiculous Aria, it'll all be alright. They're your parents, they'll love and support you no matter what your decision is. It is my life after all, not theirs. I control it, not them. I'm not 5 anymore, I'm an adult.

Get out of your fucking head Aria, go downstairs and talk to your parents for fucks sake.

I walk downstairs as my whole body is shaking, my palms start to get sweaty, and I feel a little nauseous to be honest.

" Hi honey" my mom greets me as I walk downstairs, I give her a smile back.

" Hi Ri" my father says to me as he sits down on our couch in the living room.

"Hi mom, dad. I need to talk to you guys about something. Mom, could you come over here? " I say to them, I take a seat on the couch with my dad as I talk. My mom sits on the recliner by the couch, they both nod their heads as a way to urge me to continue.

" I've come up with a plan for my future and career as well I guess. But you're my parents so I obviously wanted to tell you." I start, fiddling with my hands as I speak.

They just nod in response looking a bit on edge as to what I have to say.

"So I think I'm going to wait to go to college for a little bit. With my time off from school I'll explore and learn more about photography. If it doesn't go that well then I'll go to school for photography or something, but that's not to worry about right now." I tell them my plan, all of a sudden I feel a huge weight come off my shoulders.

My mom and dad glance over at each other, they both look at me and smile.

"Whatever makes you happy and whatever you want Ri." My mom says to me, "Yes, whatever you want and is your happiness, is what we want to." My dad adds on to my mom's statement.

I automatically smile, I don't think I can stop smiling. I hug both of them and thank them at least a million times.

" I'm going to head upstairs now. Julia wants to call so we can plan for my birthday. Love ya both!" I say as I start running upstairs eager to call Julia.

Oh yeah, and another thing is my birthday is in a few weeks. The cutoff for school was fucked up when I began elementary school so that explains why I'll be 19 after a month and a half of graduating high school.

"Jules guess what! My parents accept what I'm gonna do with my future." I tell her practically squealing as I say it. " See, I told you that there was nothing to worry about." She tells me with a smile.

We spent the rest of our call talking about my birthday plans. We are going to take a road trip to California for a few days to see the beach and explore it as well.

I took some time to clean my room as I realized it was getting dirty, I realized it was getting pretty late with it being 12:00 am so I decided to get into pajamas and take off my makeup then do skin care.

Once I'm all done with getting ready for bed I lay down and go on my phone till I can fall asleep.

I'm scrolling through my Instagram feed until I receive an email, an email so important I jump off my bed and turn on my lights to make sure it's real.

There is no way this could be happening, why is this happening? How did they even discover me?
