I got home from the park that day. And mom asked me to fold the clothes that were in the dryer. As I was walking to the laundry room my dad had stopped me,
"How was the park?" He curiously asked.
"Good.." I silently answered.
"Well, that's good." I could see he was just trying to make small talk.
I quietly put away my clothes, pulled out a book and continued to read off of chapter 6. I enjoyed reading. I never did until I got the brain tumor, because when I was on the hospital my family gave me a lot of books so I started reading them now I read all the time.
I asked my mom to make me something to eat. She refused, because she said she was "busy" at the moment. So I got in the car and went to Dairy Queen. I never really liked fast food. But I was hungry. So I ordered ice cream and sat down and texted Daniel.
"Hey."
"Hello, Macey Rae."
"What are you up to?"
"Sitting at home, with Ryan."
"Ryan?"
"Yeah, he is my friend."
"Oh."
"What's goin on?"
"Sitting at Dairy Queen."
"Okay.."
In about 7 minutes he was sitting on the other side of the table. I noticed that he was just watching me, he almost looked shocked.
"Do you need something?" I laughed
"No, just you Macey Rae, you are just so stunning."
I blushed. His eyes sparkled.
His smile, was amazing. I asked if he wanted anything. Of course, no.To be continued...
