It was late in the day, that is what Ragini thought, when she opened her eyes and found the room empty. Where is he?
Looking around she found the washroom door open, she slowly stood up and checked it, "nice," there was a small note.
- I'm downstairs, take your time nothing is running away. -
Ragini took her time, meanwhile at the hall.
"Wow that's so great of you," Swara hugged Uttara, "I'm so surprised, I haven't expected this coming for us."
Uttara smiles happily, "Bhabhi happy anniversary once again."
Sanskaar was looking at the fully, thick pancakes, "wow, you made them Uttara?"
Uttara shook her head, "no, Laksh Bhai did."
"Wow, I'm impressed Lucky."
Laksh looked at him, "damn get it into your head it's Laksh!"
Sanskaar nodded, "okay, Laksh. It's amazing how much you can learn in 6 months."
"You mean 30 years of life, yes, you learn a lot when you are independent and on your own."
They looked at him, "Lucky, you are 28 not 30." A short laugh of Sanskaar raised the anger of Laksh.
"When I say I'm 30, then I am 30 years old!" He even stood up with a hand turned into a fist.
"Laksh?!" The scared yet soft voice of Ragini got his full attention.
She released a sight, making her way, she took his hand, "you are still in your pyjamas, come." She didn't need to drag him he simply followed her.
Back in their room, she saw his angry face, "Laksh, you are 30?"
Laksh nodded, "I'm older than him," he huffed with a pouted face.
Ragini couldn't hold herself and laughed, "aww, but profile of yours showed 28?"
Laksh just shook his head, "I know, I told them even wrote a message, but the profile was out and a few proposal come in. As soon as I was in India I told the families that there was a mistake, they understood as I was honest about my age and didn't tried to hide it."
"Oh, and here?"
Laksh shrugs, "I guess I forgot, but here an email I wrote to the marriage bureau / agency."
She smiled, "I trust you Laksh. Okay, change and explain me what is this cooking thing?"
Laksh went into the washroom, "after the death of my parents I was on my own. I learnt to cook and tried to remember the flavours my mom used to have in her food. I couldn't recreated but I was happy with it, cause it brought me closer to her, even when she wasn't there."
Ragini was resting her head on the wall, a lonely tear escaped her eye, "I can understand. I tried a lot of thing just to be closer to her. I was so young I hardly remember how she was."
Laksh came out, "yes, I had her for 18 years you couldn't have her the half of my time, I'm sorry. I really didn't wanted to taunt or hurt you."
Ragini shook her head, "I ask you, cause I wanted to know. Let's go."
They came downstairs and had their breakfast. As it was the anniversary of SwaSan, Laksh was trying to figure out how to escape them.
"Hey why don't you enjoy your special day alone. We are here in Goa, some beautiful places and beaches?"
Ragini looked at Laksh, why is he doing this?
"Haan Lucky, not a bad idea, right Sanskaar?"
