Skyler Sawyer (29) actress and influencer recently joined the Marvel cast is with us today. Hello Skyler, it's great to finally meet you, thank you for being here!
Thank you for having me. It's great to meet you too!
So how did you joined the Marvel cast? It must have been such a process!
Yeah! I've been travelling a lot these last few months for some brands and i haven't had the time to make films or series for a little while. I missed being on set to be honest so when the call came out i auditioned for Marvel. My manager and the Russo have been in touch so we had conversations on zoom because at the time i was still in Japan. And they called me 3 or 4 days later saying the role was mine!
That sounds incredible! How is filming so far? I know you can't tell much but how is it with the cast? Since they know each other for a long time, was it hard to find a place in this big group?
Yeah (laughing) umm.. they're amazing! Honestly, they welcomed me with open arms. They're all very supportive and so nice! They are an amazing group of people and i'm grateful to be a part of it.
We saw on Instagram how close you were from Chris Evans! Did you heard the rumours about you two?
Yes i heard! But there's nothing between him and i. We know each other for a few weeks and he's such a great friend!
You're 29 right? You look so calm and so young! Give us some tips!
Yes (laughing) i'm 29 that's right! um.. i don't know i always looked younger than i am, which is great by the way i'm not complaining. And calm? (laughing) i'm literally panicking inside of my chest right now!
Filming started a few days ago so i assume you read the script?
Well i read my script! We don't get the full script.. i don't think, i mean i haven't (laughing) !
Can you talk about your character? Give us some hints?
Omg guys, i wish i could! umm.. let me think! well.. she's a badass and i just hope you're gonna love her as much as i do!
You're gonna spend a lot of time in Atlanta right? What did you plan on doing during your days off?
Yes, about 6 to 7 months! I think i'm just gonna hangout with the cast honestly (laughing) i don't have any plans!
You came out 1 year ago, am i right?
Yes!
Do you know how much people came out, thanks to you?
Oh wow! No I don't know but i'm glad i could encourage people to embrace who they are and being proud!
