you laid against the pillows on the couch, turning on the tv to play in the background as you looked at your phone.

"babe!" you heard corpse shout as he ran into the room, holding your baby daughter against his chest.
"what is it?" you asked putting your phone down.
he sat down in between your legs and placed the baby on your chest.

"she started crying and i didn't know what to do" he said panicking, as the baby buried it self into your chest
"she's just tired" you smiled "where you streaming?"
"yes"
"where you shouting?"

a silence fell over him as he looked down
"you probably woke her up by accident and she was stressed or something"
"she inherited that from me" he laughed as he picked her up from your chest, placing her in back in her crib which was on the ground floor.

"clearly." you smiled, looking down
