y/n wasn't the person to believe everything she saw and read, but there was something about this book she found. y/n's hands glided across the cover of the book. she could feel it was old, just by the touch. that made her even more curious.
y/n was about to open the book. she was almost shaking, but not fully. her eyes were glistening in the natural light that was coming trough the curtains. the pages showed a good amount of text, with a lot of information. it was like the book was hypnotising her. y/n needed to read it.
"introduction," y/n read out loud. 'as you maybe do not know, there are several universes. what is happening in a book can be happening in another universe.' the text stated. 'while you are now reading this, you are preparing yourself to let one person from one universe merge with yours. you will just be able to enjoy your time with them. meaning that you won't live in their universe, and they will not live in yours. you will just be able to see them, and they will be able to see you. (more information is coming further in the book)'
y/n's curiosity took over. she really wanted to try this out. what if it actually worked? what if she met the person? would it be a good thing, or a bad thing? wondering was what she did. her eyes widened, if she met that specific person, would she get too attached?
y/n trying to find something similar to the book on the internet. but nothing was similar. her face was was full of light, because of her phone screen. the only thing she could find in the same 'category' was shirting. "shifting realities," y/n's feminine voice read. "it's not quite the same," she sighed. biting the inside of her mouth/lip, was her way of wondering and thinking. i could just say that the inside of her mouth had bite marks all over.
the only question that was left; was y/n actually going to believe this?
