Chapter 1 of "Stole My Heart"

My name is Natalia Calderson. My friends call me Nat or Natty.

I'm 19 years old. I have wavy brown hair that ends at my butt. I have big brown eyes. I'm 5 feet 5 inches. No. I am not a midget. I wear heels a lot to seem taller.

My parents both work for the CIA so they send me money and pay for my college. I'm a model for Vogue. I feel like I should have a great paying job just in case something happens. It helps me feel safer.

I go to college at Manchester University and major in English Lit. I love it there. The best part is having every class with your best friend.

My best friend is Sarah Granger. I call her Sar Bear sometimes. She's 5' 7" and is also 19. She has hair that almost reaches her butt. Her hair needs about four inches more to be as long as mine. She dyes her hair bright red and I like it better than her brown hair. She's drop dead gorgeous. She works at Top Shop with Eleanor Calder (Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend). We know everything about each other. Literally everything. We have no choice, we live together. Sarah's dad was murdered because he owed someone money and her mom was a drug addict and died from an OD and that's why she lives with us. My parents let her move in with us when we were 14 and it's been that way ever since. It's like having a twin sister. She's just like me but we have different hair and I'm WAYYYY louder. I could probably be heard all the way in London if I tried.

The two of us also live with my sister, Scarlett. We usually call her Scar. She's 5' 4". She's 16. She's in her tenth year of school. She has brown hair almost as long as Sarah's. She has brown eyes like me.

Scarlett lives with us because our parents are always away on top secret missions. I'm her legal guardian because of my parents job. We all train to be secret agents too. We take classes all the time. That's why we're really skinny. We also need to be able to defend ourselves because there's no man in the house unless you count our dog, George. He's a Golden Lab puppy. He's adorable. We named him after George Shelley from Union J who we've fought over, several times.

The house is one story. It has two bathrooms, two bedrooms (I share with Sarah), a kitchen, a living room, an indoor/underground gun range, and a big backyard with different areas for training.

We love X Factor with all our hearts. There's always so much talent. Some of our favourites are Olly Murs, One Direction, Cher Lloyd, Little Mix, James Arthur, and Union J. We also love Ed Sheeran, even though he wasn't on X Factor.

One Direction have been and always will be our favourite. We all remember when Liam Payne was 14 and tried out for X Factor. He had so much talent. He wasn't ready yet. Thank god he listened to Simon and came back two years later.

We all have our favourites. Mine is Louis because he's hilarious, gorgeous, and we have the same personality. I'm convinced we're related. Sarah's is Harry because they're both cheeky, say really inappropriate things, and never stop flirting with everyone. Scar's favourite is Niall. They both eat more than elephants do yearly in one day. They both cuss a lot and laugh at everything. One Direction makes us laugh, cry, sing, dance, scream, and make us say weird stuff like "potatoes" and "carrots" to stop awkward silences. They are the best thing that has ever happened to us.
