Charlie Dubane looked at his watch. She was ten minutes late. Diana was never late to meetings. what on earth is holding her up?

But he waited for her because he was a gentleman and maybe it was just traffic. But the longer he waited the less patience he had.

Charlie had never had patience when he was younger and that trait stayed with him the older he got. He liked to get things done fast and move on to the next matter on his list.

He looked at his watch again. Almost an hour had gone by with no sign of her.

He picked his phone up and called her. When it went straight to voicemail warning bells went off in his head. She had never missed a call from him or anybody for that matter.

With another five minutes had gone by with still no sign of her he stood and taking his wallet out threw a ten on the table. He picked up the files they were going to go over then paid the bill and left the restaurant.

Charlie took his phone out and speed-dialed Diana again when he got to the car then left her a message saying that he left the restaurant and to call him immediately when she heard this message, then got in the car and drove home.

Charlie stopped at his mailbox first to get the mail. He only got a few magazines and a bill. He put them on the seat next to him then drove up the rest of the way to the house.

He got out of his car and grabbed his mail from the seat then absently slammed the door and locked it then walked up to his house looking at a magazine while unlocking his door then went inside.

Sitting in his favorite armchair he kicked off his shoes and threw the mail on the lamp table. He picked up the t.v. remote and turned the t.v. to the ABC News and turned the volume up.

"-Anthony tell us what's happening over there."

"Well Mary, it looks like Mr. Dickman has called a press meeting today, lets see what he has to say."

"Hello, citizens of America. You're probably wondering why I called you here today and I hope I satisfy your curiosity when I say that I'm opening a new company."

All the reporters started shouting questions.

"What type of company will you be opening?" one of the reporters in the front shouted.

"I'm opening a furniture store," He answered.

"What's the name of the company gonna be?" Someone to the left shouted.

"The name will be announced at a later date," He answered and gripped the sides of the podium.

"When will the company open?" One asked somewhere in the middle.

"The company will open in two months," He told them.

"Sir, how can you be sure that the company will open in two months?" A reporter in the back asked quietly but he still heard him.

"Have I ever misjudged when one of my companies will open?" Mr. Dickman shot back calmly.

"You haven't, but everyone makes mistakes," The reporter answered.

"And how are you so certain that I will make a mistake?"

"Everyone makes mistakes, even the higher class men, " The reporter answered.

"Well I can assure you that the company will open in two months, " He assured the reporter.

"Why have you chosen a furniture company this time?" Someone in the far-right shouted.
