Arranged marriage | Alec Lightwood

Part 1 | "Time to leave"

It is the day we're me and my team leaves to the New York institute and we take control. We will leave someone that we trust in charge of the Los Angeles Institute while we are gone. I will have to see my future husband again I was not really thinking of seeing him until the day that we had to get married came which was not until 1 or 2 years.

"Come on Brook it's time to leave the portal is already here" Jayden told me and I nodded and we walked out

"Ready to kick ass Brook" Ava said making me chuckle

"Yeah just nervous you know" I responded and Lucas finally arrived

"Let's go or we will be late" Jayden said we all nodded and we went inside the portal not looking back

I was in front of all of them then Ava and Lucas where behind me then after them came Alex and Jayden we were still like that while we walked inside the New York institute no one noticed us so I walked up to a little kid which was Max Alec's younger brother

"Hey Max where is your brother?" I asked him while bending down to his height

"Umm I think he is in his office with my mother and father" he responded I nodded

I looked at my team and we nodded and walked to Alec's office when we got there I knocked

"Come in" we heard Mrs.Lightwood say right before we walked in

"Hello Mr and Mrs Lightwood" We all said

"Hello what brings you to the New York institute" Mrs Lightwood asked

"We are going to be taking temporary control over this institute until the clave knows that you are capable of taking control again" Jaden spoke up They were in shock

"You can't do that" Alec said

"I'm sorry but it's the claves orders and Mr and Mrs Lightwood they were going to send someone else but my father told them to send me and my team" I said they just nodded before we left and went looking for our rooms

When We where looking for our rooms we found out that they weren't enough rooms so one of us had to share I was going to share with Ava but Mrs Lightwood said I should share a room with Alec since after all we were going to be married and I was in no mood to argue so I just nodded

I went to his room he wasn't there so I just unpacked and fell asleep

Izzy's POV

I couldn't find Alec anywhere so I went to his room to wait for him but when I opened the door I saw a girl sleeping I couldn't figure out who she was. I was surprised and in shock I left and went to tell look for Alec again. I finally found him

"Alec why Is there a girl in your room?" I questioned my brother

"Oh right Brooklynn and her team are taking temporary control over the institute" Alec told me While jace and clary walked into the room we were in

"Who is Brooklynn?" Clary asked

"She's the girl who Alec is supposed to marry when she turns 21" Jace kinda answered her question

"What!?! Since when dose Alec have a girlfriend?" Clary asked

"Brook is not Alexander's girlfriend it's a arranged marriage that's has been arranged before they were born" A voice said we turned around and it was Jayden We only meet like one time but I still remember him

"I just came to inform you that Clarissa must not leave the institute no mater what unless someone in my team goes with her" he said before leaving

"Who was that?! And are there going to be more new people?" Clary asked

"That was Jayden and there are more Alex, Lucas and Ava and there team leader Brooklynn" I said

"Why are they here?" Clary asked I was kinda done answering her questions

"They came to take temporary control over the institute" Alec answered her question before he did his famous eye roll

"You might want to know that Jayden is the oldest out of all of them but Brooklynn is there leader oh and before I forget they all follow the rules like Alec they don't go on missions that they didn't get approval for" Jace told Clary

"Why have I never heard of them?" Clary asked us

"Actually I don't know they are legends but they life in the Los Angeles Institute" Jace said

Brooklynn's POV

I woke up in Ava's room I'm pretty sure Jayden brought me here when I was sleeping because when I was unpacking I was complaining to him. I got ready and went outside to see Alexander and his team talking and then I looked around I saw my team talking as well

"Hey guys" I said to them

"Hey Brook" they all said at the same time

"Jay thanks for bringing me to Ava's room" I told Jayden while getting breakfast

"No problem Brook" Jayden told me

"Okay we need to talk to them. They welcomed Clarissa to there team so they are the closest to her" Alex told us

"And we need as much information about her relationship with valentine" Lucas said we agreed with them then before we could say anything else I could sense them coming

"They are coming so be careful of what you say" I told them they nodded and started talking about random things

"Hey" Clarissa said behind us

I turned around "Hello Clarissa it is lovely to finally meet you" I said with a fake smile then turned to the others and nodded

"Hello Clarissa we have heard a lot about you" Ava said Before Alex Lucas and Jayden said hello

"You can just call me Clary" she said we nodded
