FINALLY

ANNA POV:

*One month later*

I'm laying in bed doing nothing but let my mind run through some thoughts. It doesn't take long for me to think about y/n which isn't really surprising because she's on my mind a lot. Y/n and I have been talking for a month and some weeks now. We got super close since we talked almost every day and fell asleep on facetime a couple times and I really like her. I catch myself starting to smile while thinking about y/n. It's kinda scary how much I already like her and how I actually want her to be a part of my life but something about her just makes me really enjoy her company even though she lives miles away. I trust her and I'm really comfortable around her. 

YN:
Heyy boon. u wanna ft? I got some news. 

Y/n's message snaps me out of my thoughts and I call her immediately.
"Hey" she says smiling. She seems happy so I suppose its good news.
"Hi. How are you?"
"I'm really good, thanks. You?"
"Same. So.... What news do you have?"
"Straight into it huh?" she laughs.
"Sure I wanna know."
"Okay okay... Well I got invited to UCLA to practice with them so they can see if they give me the scholarship or not. It's starts next week."
"Wow, that's amazing." I'm really happy for her, she really wants to go to UCLA.
"It is. And besides that I'll be in LA for a week so we could hang out if you want to."
"Yes of course. Wait where will you be staying for that week?"
"I don't know yet, probably just a hotel I guess."
"How about you stay with us? We could drive you to practice or you can borrow my car and we could hang out a lot more."
"No, it's fine. I don't want to impose myself on yall. You need your privacy too and I would just disturb you if I stayed in your room for a week. Especially if it's the first time hanging out don't you think?"
"Well if it's just the room thing then don't worry we have some extra rooms you can have one. And you wont impose yourself. I'm pretty sure the others would like the idea too. I'll ask them as soon as they're back home and text you their answer, okay?" I'm slightly disappointed because I kinda liked the idea of her staying in my room for a week but I guess that would be a bit too fast so I just hope she'll agree on staying in her own room.
"Okay. Thank you boon. I actually gotta go now because I have practice in a bit and I need to practice for UCLA. Just wanted to tell you real quick. We'll talk later okay?"
"Sure. Have fun. Bye"
"Bye boon."
We look into each other's eyes through facetime for a moment before she waves and hangs up. 

I lean back in my chair and close my eyes smiling until the door opens and Eva and the girls jump on my bed.
"What's up Anna, why are you so happy?" Emma asks, hugging me from behind.
"I bet our little simp just talked to y/n"
"I AM NOT A SIMP DEV. But yeah I did talk to her. Would you guys mind if she stays in one of our guest rooms for a week? She has to practice with the UCLA team."
"Nope of course not. I'm excited to finally meet my little girl." Dev smiles. Y/n and her have been talking as well. Actually y/n and all the girls have talked before and text sometimes so I knew they wouldn't mind since they all really like her. Especially not Dev, they got really close friends over time.
"When will she come over?" Mads asks laying on my bed and cuddling Pluto.
"Next week. I'll ask her when she'll arive."
"Okay we'll go downstairs and make dinner." They get up and leave.
I lay next to Pluto and text y/n. 

ANNA:
hey y/n, how's practice? the girls are cool with you staying here. when will u arrive at the airport? I'll pick u up then. 

I get up and walk downstairs to give Pluto his food and eat something myself. 

Y/N:
hii practice was good and ill arrive around 12 am on monday. thx for picking me up, I'm excited. I'll go shower real quick u wanna ft after? 

ANNA:
sure. I'm excited as well. 

I go upstairs and lay in bed waiting for y/n's call while watching tv. She calls after a few minutes and we start talking about practice and that she's pretty nervous about next week. After a while she gets ready for bed, since it's almost 12 pm in NY, and gets cuddled up in her bed. We continue talking for a bit before she slowly drifts off to sleep. She looks really peaceful. I can get myself to stop staring at y/n sleeping and decide to draw a bit. I haven't really drawn a lot lately but I miss it. I draw another dragon. It's not like I have a lot already. It takes me about three hours to finish the dragon so it's 12:30 and I get up to play some video games with my headset on so I don't wake y/n up.
I take a quick break around 2 am and grab a red bull before turning on my tv to watch 'the last jedi'.
"Good morning boon." I hear y/n through the phone. Oh shit it's already 6:30 in Ny and y/n just got up for school. My sleep schedule is really bad...
"Hey. How did you sleep?"
"Good. Have you slept?"
"Ehm... No..."
"You should really get some sleep Anna..."
"I know, I will after the movie."
"Okay haha. What are you watching?"
We continue talking about Star Wars while she gets ready for school. She has to hang up and the movie is over so I decide to get at least some hours of sleep. 

Y/N POV: 

*Monday*

Today is the day... I finally get to see Anna in person and actually stay with her for a week. I'm really excited because I really started liking her. Like a lot. I don't know if she feels the same way and I suppose she doesn't and I'm just a friend to her since she probably would have already pushed me away because of her commitment issues she posts about and the other girls also told me about but that's fine. I just want her to be a part of my life. 

I land in LA and make my way through the airport until I see Anna and Dev standing near a door. Dev and I have become really close as well, she's kinda one of my best friends already. They spot me and start running up to me. Dev has a little headstart but Anna is faster so she gets to me first and runs straight into my arms. My heart skips a beat as I pull her closer to me.
"Hey" she whispers into my ear, putting her head into my neck and pulling me even closer.
"Hey boon." I whisper back.
Dev arrives and just looks at us hugging for a while until she grabs my arms and pulls me off Anna into her arms.
"Sorry not sorry love birds but I still exist and want some attention as well..."
'love birds' I can feel my face turning red and I see Anna shyly looking on the ground playing with her rings.
Dev breaks the hug and we walk to her car. I sit behind Dev and Anna sits next to me leaving the passenger's seat empty.
"Wow okay I get it..." Dev pounting making us laugh.
We arrive at JAH and I greet the rest of the girls and especially the dogs before Anna grabs my bags and shows me to follow her.
"So this is your room. It's next to mine and Dev's is right across from it."
"Wow, it's beautiful, thank you."
"Of course. You wanna come over to my room and watch some tv?" 
"Sure. Star Wars?"
"Yupp." She takes my hand walking us into her room and I sit down on her bed. 

She starts 'the phantom menace' and sits down right next to me. I get a little nervous but in a good way, it's not uncomfortable. Half into the movie she cuddles up to me and I put my arm around her. She rests her head on my chest. I can feel her heart beating really fast and I'm pretty sure she can feel mine doing the exact same thing. After a while I feel her breathing getting slower so I guess she fell asleep. She probably was up all night again.
The movie ends and Anna is still sleeping soI grab the remote without moving too much and put on 'attack of the clones'.
At the end of the movie Anna wakes up.
"Hey. How did you sleep dummy?"
"Good haha. Sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep on you."
"It's fine, I guess I'm pretty comfortable lol"
"Yeah you are. You wanna go downstairs and play some soccer?"
"Sure."
We go downstairs and play soccer with Christian and Zack who are around and after an hour or two we go out to eat dinner. I sit down between Anna and Dev and facing Christian.
We have a lot of fun and talk a lot but it's getting late so we drive home since I have practice tomorrow morning.
I'm pretty exhausted and jetlagged so I just walk into my room, get ready for bed and fall asleep as soon as I cuddle myself into the covers.
