Yahabas POV

 I'm taking college courses in my 2nd year, so that means a lot of homework. That means less time with Kentaro, and especially with exams around the corner I don't have time to just cuddle and watch a movie. I feel bad, but Kyoken should be studying too. He always tells me he'll study later, but he could always study longer. Lately I've been telling him not to come over because he is trying to get me to go to sleep earlier. He's also been getting mad at me for other things. Like I've been staying at the college for lunch to study. He has to go to therapy instead of volleyball, so we don't see each other then either. And when he does come over, he gets all mad that I'm not paying attention to him.

"Princess~" I hear Kentaro call out to me from my bed. I gave a hum out of acknowledgment. "It's getting late. Let's cuddle."

"I'm kinda busy," I said. I hear some shuffling from the bed. I didn't think too much about it. Then suddenly I was picked up from my spot on the ground. "Let me go," I whined, trying to get out of his grip.

"Nope. It's bed time," he said. Am I 9 or something?

"Kentaro. Let. Me. Go." I tried to say as intimidating as possible. It didn't work. "Kentaro. You are making me really mad right now, so you better let go of me."

"You need to sleep. It's getting late," he said, laying me on the bed. I have a plan. I'll just wait till he's asleep then I'll study like a hour longer. Only a hour though. I just nodded. He laid down with me. We cuddled together. He held me lightly and I did the same to him. I waited until I heard soft snores to even think about moving. I was pretty stealthy, so I kinda just slithered out of his loose arms. Then I went back to study, going over formulas, square roots, fraction, and shapes. Then I do some science and reading and social studies, I'm pretty good at them though. It's kinda hard to read properly with a small lamp, but I make it work. I stay as quiet as possible. I don't want to wake him. I drown myself in work. I read problems, breaking them up to solve them. I memorize calculator tricks. I double check problems then look them up to make sure I got them right. I was reading notes and school books, soaking up information. Until...

Knock knock

"Young Yahaba, Kentaro. Time to get ready for school," Aika said. I did not- I- lord. Aika left because Kentaro sat up. Then he saw me at the desk.

"Shigeru... When did you wake up?" he asked, wiping the sleep from his eyes. I know I should lie and say I just woke up a few minutes ago.

"I j-just woke up," I said. I am the worst at lying to Kentaro.

"Shigeru... When did you wake up?" he repeated himself, walking up to me.

"I-I-I never went to sleep," I said quietly. "I just wanted to get maybe an hour in not 5- 2 at most." I tried to defend myself.

"I told you to go to sleep. You're already staying up late. You can't be staying up all night," he told me, raising his voice.

"I did this all the time when I was home schooled. Also when I have to study sports games. It's fine. I'll just take a nap in the nurse at the college during lunch," I told him, trying not to get mad.

"So, you're not even going to come back for lunch?" he asked me.

"I should get some rest," I said through gritted teeth.

"You should have slept all night," he told me.

"Well I'm sorry then. Happy?" I asked, getting in his face a bit.

"That's not the point. You just do whatever you want. You only think of yourself. Not how I would think about it. I don't know why you've been doing that lately, but stop it," he barked back.
