{3rd Person POV}

Everyone in a two-mile radius could feel the tension in the restaurant. Most of the customers had left cause of how suffocating it is. No one has said anything and no one has made any attempt to start a conversation.

"You can barely use a knife for how thick the tension is." Says Shoto as he looks around the restaurant.

"You could say that again." Says Abs with a slight chuckle.

"You could barley-"

"She didn't mean literally Todoroki?" Izuku says through a nervous chuckle.

"What's the deal with her family anyways?" Kastuki ask while giving said table the side eye.

"Oh, she hasn't told you? Well, ever since she was young her parents never really cared or thought about her. In their eyes they only even though her and her sister are twins. One day Y/N couldn't take the abuse and the neglect anymore so she ran away. That's when my family found her hiding in a dumpster from the rain. We took her in and she lived with us. During her time with us she started making clothes and doing some photography for some of our neighbors and the towns people, and she started to make money off of that. She earned enough to move out and she even repaid us back for taking care of her even though we told her it wasn't necessary."

"Her family are pieces of shit." Kastuki says angrily.

"Indeed they are." Y/N says slightly leaning over to the table behind her.

"What's happening?" Izuku aks looking between her and the family.

"I think their having a staring contest?" Shoto inquires.

"Not exactly? From what Y/N has told me her father is a man who take pride in everything he does. So her father is seeing who will talk first. In his eyes if you can't handle the tension or the atmosphere you aren't worthy." Abby informs them.

"Oh I see it's more of a dominance thing than anything. Like how wolf fight to become alpha." Izuku says putting in his input.

"So the real question is who's going to back down first?"

{Y/N's POV}

You could hear everything they were saying and you were starting to get impatient. They way your sister looks at you with this look in her eyes. You could tell that she despises oh even more now that she knows who you are and the fact that you are successful now just makes her blood boil. She lives off her father and she has no shame in that but he expects her to succeed in life and take over the family company that's way when you ran away she was happy that she wouldn't have any composition.

"How?" S/N ask lowly

"Excuse me?" You ask

"How are you this successful? You were nothing when you left? So tell me HOW DID A NOBODY LIKE YOI BECOME BETTER THAN ME!?"

"S/N!" Your mother yells ing a disciplining tone.

"No, it's fine M/N. Let her speak her mind." You said with an amused smile.

"That's mother to you young lady!" Your father scolds.

"Actually that would only work if I saw her as an actual mother figure but since I don't I will call her by her name."

"She is your mother. She is the one who gave birth to you so she is your mother weather you like it or not!"

"No, a mother is a woman who loves her children regardless. A mother is someone who who doesn't neglect her own daughter cause she doesn't like her. There are mothers out there in the world  better than she could ever be."
