Y/n woke up by her alarm. It was Monday already. She got up did her morning routine. Called Kay and asked if she needed a ride. She said yes so she went her up. Soon they made it to school. Y/n walked to her first class and sighed.

Y/n was now in her 6th hour class. The teacher was putting them in pairs.

Teacher: ok so you need a partner for this assignment

Everyone found a partner but you were the only one left.

Teacher: y/n do you want to get with another group
You: no I'll work alone
Teacher: ok

Everyone stated working on their assignment. Then there was a knock, the teacher opened it and it was Derek.

Teacher: hi Derek?
Derek: The principal moved me to this class for the rest of the year. He said he emailed you
Teacher: ok, you and y/n will work together

Derek walked over to you and pulled a seat.

You: hey Derek
Derek: hey

It was quite for a minute.

You: Can you talk or sum
Derek: I didn't know you wanted me to
You: Stop being weird
Derek: Can we be besties again
You: I never said we wasn't you just stop talking to me
Derek: oh yea sorry about everything that happened
You: it's good
Derek: so what you been up to
You: nun much
Derek: how's your parents
You: good did yours get another job
Derek: I think there getting hired back at the company with your parents
You: oh ok
Derek: I miss hanging out
You: Same

The bell rung and everyone grabbed their stuff an left.

Derek: text me later
You: ok

The day soon ended and Y/n went to Kay's house for awhile.

Kay: how was your day bitch
You: good actually me and Derek are talking again
Kay: finally
You: first off I never really stopped talking to him, he did
Kay: But you know you were mad at him
You: I was
Kay: have you talked to bobby today?
You: no not since the party
Kay: oh

Y/n got a ding on her phone and looked at it.

Derek: Thought you was goin text me
You: forgot I'm at Kay's house
Derek: what y'all doing
You: nun
Derek: I'm board asf😒
You: Same

Derek didn't text back so you turn your phone off. After a few minutes he texted

Kay and y/n decided to watch a movie. In the middle of the movie your mom texted you

Mom: Come home we need to talk
You: ok?

You tell Kay why you have to leave so you drive back home
When you walk in the house you see Derek and his Parents

You: hi
Mom: hey honey

D/m- derek mom D/d- derek dad

D/m: hi y/n

You walk over to them and give them a hug.

You: So mom why did you need to talk to me
Mom: Right, Mrs. and Mr. Borgen are able to come back work with me and your dad
You: And what does this have to do with me
Dad: The only way they can come back is if You and Derek start dating

Y/n and Derek's mouth fell open in surprise and confusion

Derek: Why do we have to date
D/d: because our boss is going to give us the company,they need someone under us and they trust us cause we get along so well. They don't want a stranger in the company
You: what if we don't want to date
Dad: Then Derek's parents won't get the job
Derek: can't y'all find another job
D/m: we tried
You: No I'm in a relationship
Derek: yea she's in a relationship
Mom: you'll have to break up with him
You: But I don't want to
Dad: you have to by tomorrow
D/m: You and Derek are now dating
Dad: You both go upstairs so we can talk

Y/n and Derek go to her room. She sits on the bed and he follows.

You: This is dumb
Derek: it is
You: I love your parents but I don't want to do this
Derek: Yea we just started talking to each other now we're forced to date
You: Bullshit (you yell and put your head in a pillow)

A tear fell from your eye. Derek looked at you.

Derek: it shouldn't be that bad we have a lot in common
You: it's not that, I have to break up with bobby. He's so nice and I can't tell him that "my parents are forcing me to date another person because of a company"
Derek: Just make conversation then tell him
You: ig

Derek's mom called him and said they were leaving.

Derek: bye bestie
You: bye

He gives you a hug and leaves out. You just think about how your going to break up with Bobby. Y/n was drowned in her thoughts. The night passed and she soon went to sleep
