Hayley knew for a really long time that she didn't like guys. She had come out to both her parents when she turned 15. Of course, at first she thought it was going to go down quite smoothly but then right before she admitted it, she second guessed herself. It was frowned upon in her family. No one accepts the LGBTQ+ community. She was the first one in generations to like the same gender. She wasn't accepted.

Her parents, mostly her father, got really upset that she had shamed them. Her close relatives didn't contact them anymore, very ashamed of her parents raising up a lesbian child. Her father, Jake, had taken out his anger on her. Hayley was covered in new bruises everyday.

Her father would tell her to strip and then he'd beat her. After he would finish, he'd show her how she looks with all the ugly bruises. He'd whisper to her how ugly she looks and how nobody could love a filthy girl like her. Of course she would believe him.

She has tried many times to make her parents love her again. She even dated a few guys. There was one guy she really liked. His name was Logan. He fell for her and as did she. He was a very sweet guy. That is until she told him she was lesbian. He let her secret out at school. He told her parents that she was using him to make it seem like she actually liked boys. She never heard the end of it. The beatings got worse and her father took it up a notch.

She got home later that expected one day. And her father was quite pissed. He took her to his room and stripped her like usual. But he did something she feared he would do one day.

He slowly moved his hand down her slim waist and had touched her lower private part. She felt uncomfortable and asked him not to do what she thought and knew would do. He slapped her and told her to shut up before pulling his pants down along with his underwear. He raped her and she never forgot that memory. She was only 16 at the time.

From then on, she was never late again. She didn't want to relive that memory. School wasn't any better. Bullies were everywhere. Her school was full of homophobic people. Of course there were people who accepted gays and lesbians, but they wouldn't dare say that out loud. Being the only person out at school, Hayley was the center target. She tried to dodge the punches and kicks but it would get worse as she learned. If anyone had a bad day at school, they would take it out on Hayley.

When her parents went away for business for a week, she was ecstatic. She decided to celebrate by going to the small cafè down the street from her house. Finally being 19, she was allowed to walk outside her house. As she stepped in, she breathed in the strong smell of coffee. Sitting down at the farthest table from the people, she picked up the menu to choose what she wanted.

A girl about her age walked into the cafè and towards Hayley, wondering what a pretty girl like her was doing sitting alone.

She walked towards Hayley quite confidently. She pulled out the chair and plopped down on it. Hayley looked up from her phone to observe the girl in front of her. She had tattoos all over her body, not much different from herself. However, Hayley had way more than the tan beauty in front of her. She had feathery light brown hair with red tips. Her eyes were the most beautiful blue Hayley has ever seen. And her lips were thin and looked heavenly. She also looked quite small. Maybe 2 inches smaller than Hayley.

The tan girl also observed Hayley. They were a bit of opposites, outwardly. Hayley was pale, with green eyes and brown curly hair. Hayley was tall and lanky. While Hayley had on sweats and a baggy hoodie, the tan goddess had on a muscle t-shirt with high-waisted shorts and VANS without socks.

After about 5 minutes of awkward silence, Hayley decided to introduce herself.

"Hi, 'name's Hayley," she timidly said. The girl in front of her smiled and finally went. "Nice to meet you Hayley. My name's Elizabeth but my friends call me El, Lizzy or Liz," the other brunette replied.
