Disclaimer: this deals with the fear of dolls. I'm sorry if I cause anyone to have a reoccurrence of pediophobia.

When I was around 4, I had a specific dream.

I was looking out a bedroom window in my old house during a sunny day, and an oak tree stood in front of it, obscuring my view. On one of the branches hung a doll with a large head, and wearing checkerboard print clothing. I knew it was a woman, as I saw breasts through her clothes. Her eyes were obscured by a pair of black sunglasses and had an abnormally large toothy smile. Her lips were covered with red lipstick.

All of a sudden, the doll turned its head towards me with a loud creaking noise, its abnormally large smile flashing at me.

The dream scenery then turned to a red ballroom, where a young woman with blonde hair and a red dress was standing. But that blonde woman... turned out to just be a disguise.

The woman pulled her face off, suddenly revealing to me my own mother as she then walked across the ballroom very slowly as haunting music played in the background. I remembered yelling in terror, thinking that possibly couldn't be my mother! She couldn't have been turned into a walking doll! But as soon as I saw that, I woke up from that dream...

I told my mom about it soon after that, but I don't think she remembers now...
