you have feelings for manjiro since first year high school. And you always see him around because he's your friend's brother, yep emma is your friend and she also know your feelings towards mikey.

one day mikey noticed that you're not with emma. he asked emma but the latter said she doesn't know where u are, so mikey feels off.

it's been days since you visited sano household, so basically it's been days since you saw mikey as well.
you can't deny that u miss him, but you're spending your time with someone really important to u right now, so there's really no choice.

one night afterclass, you went straight ahead to the gate, there you saw him standing outside waiting for you. mikey? no it's not mikey.

the guy you saw isn't mikey, it's seishu inui. you greet him with a smile.

"let's go." you said, then you both walked away.

little did you know he was there, mikey was there and he saw everything.

the next day you saw emma, and beside her there's mikey.

"emma" you called emma and waved your hand, mikey saw you first but he immediately averted your eyes and walked past you two.

you were shocked with his sudden attitude but then u just thought that he might be not in a good mood. well you're right actually. mikey's in a bad, bad mood.

"he's been acting like that since last night." emma shrugged, and that made you anxious.

you looked at mikey, who's now walking away, and you can feel his aura affecting other people. its like he's ready to smack everyone down anytime.

'why is he in such a bad mood' you thought.

you tried to keep yourself unbothered with mikey's attitude, it's as if you did something wrong. but things got so much serious with you when you saw him and he saw you, but he just ignored you like you're nothing.  you feel annoyed and hurt at the same time.

"i definitely did something" you said to yourself.

while your jumping in some conclusions, someone called your from behind. so you turned back and there you saw inui.

"y/n" he started, "what are you doing here?" you asked. he handed you a folder, "you forgot this." he said.

you took the folder and realized it's your project. "oh, thanks" you said with a soft smile, inui smiled also, "I'll be going now." he said then walked away.

on your way back, you saw mikey with his stoic face as usual, you wanted to talk to him about this unknown conflict.

"mikey." you called, but he didn't even flinch nor moved his body to face you, he just continue to walk.

you feel so annoyed and you can't control yourself that's why you shouted his name.

"Oi! Sano Manjiro!" he's full name.

there, he stopped. you felt your heart starting to race, 'was it a bad move?' 'should i run?' you thought to yourself.

"what" you flinched when u didn't notice that he's now in front of you.

"can we talk?" you said, you wanted to cry because he's too intimidating, "go on." he softly said, your system relaxed a bit.

"I mean.. in private." you stated, looking around.

you said you wanted to talk in private, so mikey lead the way to a place where no one can interrupt you two.

"is it okay here?" he asked, and faced you, you nodded. "what's the problem?" he asked once again.

you look at him, and simply said "you."

"huh? me?" he innocently asked. "yes you, why are you ignoring me all of a sudden?" you stated, with a concern tone.

he avoided your eyes and look the other way, "no, I'm not ignoring you. you're just being--" you cut him off,

"being what? it's clear that you're ignoring me. why? did i do something? what are you mad about?" you're filled with so much emotions that you can't hold back yourself.

"I'm not mad." he calmy said, but it's just making you annoyed.

"then what? why are you acting like this?" you said, almost shouting.

"and why are you so concerned?" mikey questioned you back, losing his temper.

"because i like you!" you exclaimed, too late to process what you just said.

"I.." you stuttered. mikey scoffed, "you're liking me, while you're seeing someone?" he bitterly said and you're confused to what he said.

"seeing someone?" you asked. mikey pointed the folder you're holding, and there, you immediately got what his thinking.

"you mean seishu? mikey he's my cousin." you said, stifling a smile.

"whatever his name... huh, your what?" he paused, trying to process what you last said.

"are you.. jealous?" you asked cautiously. he didn't answer so you asked again, "is that the reason why you acted like that? mikey do you.." you stopped.

"yes, i like you, if that's what you wanna hear. I do like you and it annoys me, seeing you with someone else." he abruptly said, making your heart go crazy.

"so please. if you like me, just like me.. only me." he said, moving forward to you,

"because i only have you." he finished off, gently touching your cheek.
