3rd person POV - Munich Germany
Sally Jackson was a normal girl, well as normal as a girl could be when her father was one of the most fearsome war generals in Nazi Germany. She was as normal a girl as you'd expect when raised in the midst of the greatest war in human history.
Her dolls were replaced by models of knives and guns, her only friends were tortured kids in concentration camps who would die the next day she met them, her flowery dresses were shredded and replaced with military uniforms and her religion was to worship the German Dictator.
She didn't hear the radio or dance to music like other children her age. The only entertainment she had was watching her father mercilessly torture and interrogate in the name of Hitler.
You couldn't say it was Sally's fault that she became sadistic. She didn't choose to be born into a family that taught her to be ruthless. She was a child in a cruel world carefully moulded to fit her father's ideals.
It inevitably traumatized 15 year old Sally to watch her home being struck down by the largest lightning bolt she had ever seen when the allies invaded her home country, moments after she helplessly watched her father commit suicide.
Watching her father commit suicide and her father's corpse being destroyed beyond recognition due to lightning broke her .
No sane person had any right to blame Sally for being unable to live a normal life with normal relationships, but what she ended up doing was nevertheless unforgivable.
