" The EYES HAVE IT  "

[Inspired from a story by Ruskin bond]

!Long Chapter !

~28june,1962~

Y/n's P.O.V

Hey I'm lee Y/n a blind person. Its not that though to walk alone around the place without seeing anyone.Though once I could everything clearly after an accident happened I loss my eye sight.

I'm now just got into a train compartment.
It'll be a long short journey to London bridge, then a girl got in. I heard them talking maybe The old couple who saw her off were probably her parents; they seemed very anxious about her comfort, and the woman gave the girl detailed instructions as to where to keep her things, when not to lean out of windows, and how to avoid speaking to strangers.

They called their goodbyes and the train pulled out of the station. As I was totally blind at the time, my eyes sensitive only to light and darkness, I was unable to tell what the girl looked like; but I knew she wore slippers from the way they slapped against her heels.

It would take me some time to discover something about her looks, and perhaps I never would. But I liked the sound of her voice, the fragrance that left when she passed beside me and even the sound of her slippers.. well for the last I'm kidding.

"Are you going all the way to Victoria or somewhere else?" I asked.

I must have been sitting in a dark corner, because my voice startled her cause I heard her gasped a little. She tool sometimes to reply and said, "I didn't know anyone else was here."

Well, it often happens that people with good eyesight fail to see what is right in front of them. They have too much to take in, I suppose. Whereas people who cannot see have to take in only the essentials, whatever that impression on their senses attract the most just like this girl to me.

Something is there in her which is attracting me it could be her or anything but I don't know.Oh  I'm thinking for soo long lmao nevermind.

"I didn't see you either," I said. "But I heard you come in." Why I need to so honest thought..She hummed in response.

I wondered if I would be able to prevent her from discovering that I was blind. Provided I keep to my seat, I thought, it shouldn't be too difficult right? If I just sit on my seat and looking at the window she'll think I'm normal person enjoying window sight.

"If you don't mind what's your name miss?"I asked in hesitation cause I'm not sure she's going to answer.

"I'm Pranpriya Manoban or Lisa" she said..wah what a quite name gosh! Even her name screams beauty.

"Before you ask or not I'm lee Y/n"I said smiling

"You're Korean?"lisa asked

"Yeah half korean half British"I replied she again hummed in response

"Where are you going?"oh hell na she'll think wtf is my problem keep asking her irritating questions.

The girl said, "I'm getting off at Victoria. My aunt is meeting me there."

"Then I had better not get too familiar," I replied. "or often aunts will encounter me for talkin'to you"

She just ignored my saying and asked
"Where are you going?" she asked. "To London bridge then to Richmond"

"Oh, how lucky you are. I wish I were going to Richmond. I love the there nature Especially in June."

"Yes, this is the best time," I said, calling on my memories. "Some place are open all the time to visit and at night you can sit in front of a logfire and drink a little brandy(wine). Most of the tourists have gone, and the roads are quiet and almost deserted. Yes, June is the best time."
