Where it All Began

"Riku! You're gonna be late to school!" A cry echoed from the stairs.
"Ugh... I'm coming... Damn its early!" Is what I just groaned from my throat. The clock beside my bed displays 6:30.
I have a tight sleep schedule to watch. I wake up at 6:50! Not 6:30! I stayed up in my bed for 20 more minutes... The bed seems to be calling for me. My eyes closed as my consciousness is being withdrawn deep to the land...
"RIKU WAKE UP!!" A yell that seems like a gun pulled. I jerked back with eyes wide open. "Aah!" I woke up, arms and legs flap with shock. I looked at the time once again. The clock displays the time of 7:00 am. Oh shit I overslept.
I ran down the stairs half asleep and there my mother awaits with her annoyed face. "I already told you to wake up. It won't be my fault if you became late to school!" Mother exclaimed.
I groaned and ran back to my room. Grabbed a random shirt and grabbed a buttered toast and dashed through the neighborhood, along with other kids who were also late.
I hear a small voice in the back.
"Rikuuuuuu!" An-chan head-bashed my back. I fell down forehead bleeding. "God damn it An-chan! Stop doing that! That hurts you know?" I said with frustration. Her palm of her hands behind her head while sheep-laughing made her more annoying. "Ehh~~ Oh come on don't say that! I've been doing this to you for the past 10 years! Can't you just get used to it?" She said in a teasing voice. Even though she has been doing that to me for 10 years, that still gotta hurt!
"Eh doesn't matter, I'm gonna be late to school. I gotta run!" with a hand gesture displaying my message of leaving.

School is finally over! I rushed into the library as fast as I can, unable to wait any longer for I can hear the books' summoning! I finally arrived at the library and many people stare at me as I gasp and sweat crazy like I just ran a marathon! Oh well, I kinda expected that but doesn't matter, my babies are crying. I skimmed through the sections and I found the book I'm having in my mind: Percy Jackson books. Apparently the book was so high I can't even reach it! Ooh curse my height! I feel a presence closing in on me and our hands touched. A sudden heat went in my face as a long, slender hand reached in for the book.
"Is this what you're looking for?" Said a man that is like 3 inches taller than me. I stared at the man that seems to be an employee of the library. Oh how nice for him to get the book for me!
"Oh yes. Thank you very much!" I said with a small bow.
"Hmm... I always see you in this library. You must really love books don't you?" He said.
Hmm... Well that's strange. A random guy just doesn't help and strike a random conversation with that person... Better be careful!
"Oh yes I love books so much! So much that I can't even stop reading even if I don't want to! Don't you?" I replied, a small excitement and eagerness growing inside me. I love talking about my hobbies!
"Oh wow that's good! I also love books! Fiction or not, they are amazing! It's nice to see another book fan here too!" He said.
"Wow me too!" I said excitedly. I wonder how much does he know? Does he read as much as me? But for some reason, his gaze feels very gentle. He releases this weird calm aura that wants me to talk to him more. His hands... They felt so warm. I kinda blushed for a bit.
Hold on... He is a GUY! I can't be easily attracted to people that I don't know! But there is this weird magnet that seems to attract me to him and that is something I can't turn away.
He spoke in a charming voice, "By the way what is your name? I feel like that we can have fun chats about our hobbies!"
I didn't even think about it. "My name is Riku. And I guess we can talk about books. Sometimes I get bored glamorizing them alone anyways. You?"
"Ahh I can't believe that I forgotten to introduce myself! How embarrassing of me! My name is Harry. Although excuse my hair for not being blonde, but yes nice to meet you." He squeaked out.
"Well nice to meet you Harry, but I'm afraid I have to go now. I kinda didn't had enough time to actually stay in this library in the first place (and the reason of how I learned to speed read). If you'll excuse me, I'll go and run to my home right now! It's really nice to meet you by the way! I'm looking forward to our future fan talk!" I said in a small rush.
"Oh that's too bad... I can't blame you exactly." he said with a slight hint of disappointment.
I looked at the big silent clock ticking at the top of the library walls.
"Oh shoot I really gotta go now! Bye!" I said. My feet is roaring to go!

"Oh wait just a bit." He said.
He twisted my shoulders and my face were on par with his eyes. His lips were suddenly nearing mine and they soon both touched and connected. We stayed on for a few seconds and I just pushed his chest away. My face is burning with embarrassment and I don't think I can take anymore of this awkward situation.
"What the hell are you doing?! Are you gay?!" I yelled, covering my mouth with my arms. I didn't think again and just took off. My mind were still confused... What just happened?
